ReplyDeleteThey even played on that in the show Royal Pains, where a Bollywood actress was wanting to break into the USA cinema. TOTAL diva who expected everyone in the US to know her songs and to cater to her the way they do in Bollyworld, even the character who is from India didn't know who she was because she didn't go to movies or listen to a lot of music. Bollywood B demanded first class treatment in a rural hospital.
DeleteI grew up in Wilmington, NC when that show with the Twilight Dad was in it. Met a crew member and he went on and on how big of a jerk the dad was and a prima donna the blonde actress was. Point: TREAT YOUR CREW NICELY. Which is why I think people love working with the crazy. Tom Cruise because everyone who has worked with him says how nice he is.
