Blind Item #9

Looks like the child molesting singer found a way to fulfill his sick fetishes and get paid for it too. Hopefully the judge sees through it and denies him the opportunity.

  2. R Kelly and Dubai. I wouldn’t be surprised if a judge lets him go. Molestation/rape of minors isn’t taken as seriously as it should be, predators should get the death penalty imo.

  3. I thought they took his passport?

  4. He's definitely at risk of pulling a Polanski.

  5. Of course he could also move to NYC and make some quirky films, that seems to work as well.

  8. @sandy, He was required to surrender his passport. That's why he has to seek permission to ravel now. I really doubt the judge will allow. The guy is a huge flight risk & someone else paid the bail so R Kelly has very little motivation to return.

  9. I note that a mayoral election is coming up soon. Oddly, enough, no one is asking R Kelly who he endorses. And they wonder why one votes anymore.

  11. Oh I think we know which party will help get him off these charges ;)

Him and Jussie will probably get similar slap on the wrist plea deals.

  12. Flyingtiger, they say he is illiterate, probably can't fill out a ballot if he wanted too.

  13. @Brayson: If he and Jussie get plea deals, I’m gonna lose my mind and take to the streets. Despicable.

  14. Good Lord. The balls on this guy... need to be cut off.

  15. @Aqua, No way either is going to trial. Just don't see them trying to face down a jury or a judge while what's left of their careers are destroyed. Jussie is going to pull the old addiction/mental illness card, agree to pay something for the investigation and get counseling. R. Kelly's legal team will get him some reduced sentence that he'll get paroled out of early anyway in exchange for not barbecuing victims and witnesses on the stand. R. Kelly will still get sued for everything he's worth though.

  17. @Brayson: Yeah, cause doing Ecstasy a few times in a year definitely makes him an addict. I thought he’d pull the mental health card in mid-Feb & go to the same cozy place where Weinstein went.

Seems as if the Empire cast is turning against him. Taraji recently interviewed saying that everything on the set is great without him. (Far from her internet cries of ‘my poor son’ when the story first broke.)

  18. @raven, That k-pop guy is just looking at a $26,000 fine or 5 years max in a highly politicized case where they have digital evidence. Of course he's going for mercy. His worst case scenario is R. Kelly's best case scenario.

  19. @Aquagirl, Yes that was as weak as people going to rehab for weed use. I would find it much more plausible that he was having a manic episode, certainly would explain his poor planning. He seems like more of a moron though.

  21. @raven, People can't just come out and admit to doing some NXIVM level sh!t unless they're doing a plea deal or they're in a state with the death penalty and want to die.

That was a different k-pop guy in the same article, he's just leaving for the duration of the investigation, that guy hasn't admitted to anything:
Last week Seungri announced his decision to quit the entertainment industry.
"I think I'd better leave the entertainment industry at this moment," he wrote on his official Instagram account.

  22. Apparently there’s no legal age of consent in Dubai because it’s illegal to have sex outside of wedlock...hmmmm

That's hysterical, since the GOP gave us Mark Foley, Dennis Hastert, Roy Moore.

Did you say "Go, Roy Moore, Go!" like Trump did?
