ReplyDeleteNext time you pass a homeless person asking for $, think about whether you can spare $5-10. More than likely you won't miss it, but it will mean a lot to him/her. Think about it

ReplyDeleteSince when does an A list event get held on skid row? Also, its risky giving addicts a lot of money up front. I wonder how many of her newest fans OD'd later that night. Then again, she may be like Sherlock and is building an invisible army. Were there any paps around to verify? John D Rockefeller used to give street urchins who wouldn't live into double digit age shiny new dimes as part of a PR campaign to improve his image after he had laughed at the murder of strikers he faced down with hired gun wielding "security staff". You just never know with these people.
ReplyDeleteIf they're really addicts living on the street, they will just be thankful for the chance to get well. Most would probably go score, get a hotel room for the night, and enjoy a shower and a warm bed for the night.

ReplyDeleteTiffany used to be homeless for awhile and had to sleep in her car. Kevin Hart realized this and gave her money to get a hotel room for a few nights. This is why I completely believe this blind. Very nice.

ReplyDeleteOne should not give a homeless person cash. It puts them in danger. Most of them will use it for drugs/booze. In addition, it discourages them from seeking help from a shelter, church, etc. Best thing is to buy them food. Of course, I've had them reject it and then cuss me out even though they were asking for money to buy a sandwich
