There's still movies that don't have sequels?
Another Nolan Batman movie w Joseph Gordon Levitt.
None. Sequels generally suck.
Goonies
Lilo’s 2007 masterpiece “I Know Who Killed Me.”
Muriel's Wedding
Something borrowed - book series was great
I thought A Series of Unfortunate Events deserved a sequel. Jim Carrey was a great Olaf and the movie was very good, I thought. Haven't bothered with the TV series.
Titanic
Dazed and Confused: The 80s Years
An Angel at my Table. Although I guess it was pretty much one and done, it was so good that I wish it had been a mini series. Maybe Arnold’s “Running Man”? Love that movie so much ❤️
Although sequels usually aren’t any good (but Terminator 2 was better than 1 so stranger things have happened).
Fried Green Tomatoes
Clueless was such a great movie with great characters, that I wanted it to keep going, but I dont know if a 25+ year later sequel would have the same charm.
How about Close Encounters -- they dump Richard Dreyfuss back on Earth and say, "Nevermind."
Braveheart
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
The Nice Guys
DISTRICT 9! I'm STILL waiting for the alien shrimp to return and cure the man, like he promised.
"Advise and Consent" . Book won the Pulitzer; movie stopped short with the death of the President and his Sec of State nom voted down. Loved the movie; love the book. Appropriate for today. Class actors in the original movie.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E.(2015), Cavill and Hammer had great chemistry as CIA and KGB agents forced to team up during the Cold War, funny with lots of action. Reminded me of the old classic Bond films, not the crappy Bond films they make nowadays.
We don't need sequels.
But we do need :
Doris Day. Rock Hudson.
Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.
Tony Randall. Sandra Dee.
Annette and Frankie.
That's what I miss.
@Unknown
Good call. That movie was primed for a sequel.
It would probably be a bad idea, because the first was so perfect, but I want an Inception sequel, or maybe another movie set in that universe.
Reality Bites
Napoleon Dynamite
District 9, for sure!
Awww, would love more adventures in Toon Town, but so hard to imagine without Bob Hoskins
Even though they had a bit of follow up at the end, Id love to see more Bowfinger!
Napoleon Dynamite was great @gator
Willow
Willow
Trick 'r Treat
The Big Lebowski. And then maybe an animated Archer-esque series after the sequel.
Raising Arizona.
Big Trouble in Little China and Silverado
SpaceBalls
Oh wow, there's a new Bill & Ted movie coming out in August 2020!
Master and Commander. I wanted to see Brad Pitt play Stephen Decatur and kick capt. Aubrey's butt.
Videodrome and Hamlet 2.
Say Anything.
Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World. Genius movie, crying shame more weren't made.
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai
Old School. I know Blue died, but I think everyone else would still be alive.
Still waiting on that Bill & Ted reboot / threequel too.
Gone with the Wind.
A Bug’s Life. It is overshadowed by Pixar’s other early movies unfortunately. So good.
set it off
Pride and Prejudice ("Death Comes to Pemberley" does not count...)
Meet Joe Black - where the returned Brad Pitt (after Death-as-Brad-Pitt) and Claire Forlani who just inherited a shitton of money from her recently departed gajillionaire dad Anthony Hopkins try to make life work.
Dark Skies. Where the hell did the son go?
Sagan
+1
love that movie
Elvis:That’s The Way It Is :-)
The Princess Bride - so many of the stars are now free!!
16 Candles
The Breakfast Club
👍
Wedding Crashers seemed like it ended with a sequel to come.
Master & Commander deserves a sequel- instead Disney turned toward Capes and Sci Fi.
We need more movies for adults.
Twice Upon a Time (1998) with Molly Ringwald. I think that they could make a go of a sequel.
Small Soldiers
Dazed and Confused
Space Hunter, Adventures in the forbidden zone.
The Conversation
A Streetcar Named Desire
Reboot of Blake's 7
The Big Lebowski. We all need more of The Dude
The Maltese Falcon
Shawshank Redemption - what's Andy been up to and how long did Red last as a free man?
Interview with a Vampire - more of what happened afterr the turn of the century until original movie
Forrest Gump - from Lieutenant Dan's perspective
The Departed... where are they (who didn't depart) now?
Absolutely none. Leave them all alone.
🦐🦐🦐🦐
GOSH.
As if! Wouldn’t “Clueless” as a sequel be like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now?
AYYYyyymen we all need more bowling dream sequences featuring TEH DUDE. 🙌🏼
Give him Interwebs and Tinder! 🍻
None of them.
canroadrunner, Margaret Mitchell was working on a sequel to Gone with the Wind. She died however, after being hit by a car.
My hope is Scarlett got him back.
Was watching a movie today called 'All Mine to Give'. It ended so abruptly. Would love a sequel.
Wall-e
Step Brothers, but with that crappy Sherlock movie those 2 did I am a bit leary. So Goonies.
Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.
I like the Napoleon Dynamite and Big Leboski ideas!
Sixteen Candles or Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Gone With the Wind 2
Beautiful Girls
Paper Moon.
OMG you know who should play Miss Trixie Delight? 🌙😂
Pammie Anderson: https://youtu.be/qlg5InsskW4 🤣
Mortal Instruments: City of Bones
1960s "The Italian Job" with Michael Caine. I want to know how they got out of that teeter-totter bus.
Irreconcilable Difference
Stepmom
