  5. Something borrowed - book series was great

  6. I thought A Series of Unfortunate Events deserved a sequel. Jim Carrey was a great Olaf and the movie was very good, I thought. Haven't bothered with the TV series.

  8. An Angel at my Table. Although I guess it was pretty much one and done, it was so good that I wish it had been a mini series. Maybe Arnold’s “Running Man”? Love that movie so much ❤️

Although sequels usually aren’t any good (but Terminator 2 was better than 1 so stranger things have happened).

  10. Clueless was such a great movie with great characters, that I wanted it to keep going, but I dont know if a 25+ year later sequel would have the same charm.

    1. As if! Wouldn’t “Clueless” as a sequel be like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now?

  11. How about Close Encounters -- they dump Richard Dreyfuss back on Earth and say, "Nevermind."

  14. "Advise and Consent" . Book won the Pulitzer; movie stopped short with the death of the President and his Sec of State nom voted down. Loved the movie; love the book. Appropriate for today. Class actors in the original movie.

  15. The Man from U.N.C.L.E.(2015), Cavill and Hammer had great chemistry as CIA and KGB agents forced to team up during the Cold War, funny with lots of action. Reminded me of the old classic Bond films, not the crappy Bond films they make nowadays.

    We don't need sequels.
    But we do need :
    Doris Day. Rock Hudson.
    Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.
    Tony Randall. Sandra Dee.
    Annette and Frankie.
    That's what I miss.

Good call. That movie was primed for a sequel.

It would probably be a bad idea, because the first was so perfect, but I want an Inception sequel, or maybe another movie set in that universe.
