Dave Grohl?
Taylor Hawkins?
Dave Grohl
chris cornell?
I was thinking Hole but the drummer is a female??
Grohl?! Only other possible murder would be Johnny Thunders and that was 1991
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_murdered_musicians
So that's what Joan Jett & Dave Grohl have in common.
Butch Vig produced Nevermind and was the drummer for Garbage
Yeah not buying Grohl with this one. I like the Butch Vig guess, Time.
The possible murder victim song-writer singer, that the comme looks like, are all the same person. So Dave & Kurt from Nirvana.
Bryan David "Butch" Vig (born August 2, 1955), nicknamed the Nevermind Man,[1] is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the drummer and co-producer of the alternative rock band Garbage and the producer of diamond-selling album Nevermind by Nirvana.[2]
Vig's first high-profile production work was in 1991, when he produced albums by two bands, The Smashing Pumpkins' Gish and Nirvana's Nevermind.
I agree with the peeps saying Vig plus who wouldn't want a Shirley Manson look a like flogging your ass.
The guy who wrote all of gin blossom's hits was kicked out of the band for alcoholism and then killed himself during their heyday.
So if it's Butch Vig then we're saying, what, that someone murdered whoever wrote Garbage's songs? Or that Garbage got famous because the drummer produced a Nirvana album?
Patty Schemel was the drummer for Hole during the Live Through This album (ghostwritten by Kurt) and was considered the replacement drummer in Nirvana before Dave Grohl came along
There's always rumors that the INXS guy was murdered as well...
Cranberries
Maybe he just liked to have strange 3 somes with guys while trying to say they aren't gay as gay can be ..gay
Vig is a good guess instead of grohl, the lead singer would then be shirley manson. That makes sense.
This is fun bc ambiguously phrased enough to give more possibilities!
Possible murder victim is usually Kurt, which would mean Dave Grohl. He'd have so many other descriptors, I'd think, but that might have confused that domme would look like Kurt.
Chris Cornell is often discussed as potential murder victim on this site, so Matt Cameron might be the answer.
I personally think Butch Vig is too much of a stretch. Given that Enty carefully gave no gender descriptors, and the little twist of the ghostwriter, I think Troy might have it with Patty Schemel/Courtney Love. Let that Freak Flag Fly!
Definitely Dave.
Unrelated to whippings; and because Ouija boards are reliable evidence for such things (sarcasm) back in '96 some friends and I were trying one. They wanted to contact Kurt, so we did the whole teenagers acting like we're in The Craft contacting Kurt Cobain. They swore they weren't moving the cursor. I can ascertain it was not me. They asked Kurt if he was murdered. He said yes. We asked by whom. We thought he'd say Courtney. He said Dave G. Was it really Kurt? I'lI never really know. (To this day, they swear they didn't move it.) Why did I share this? Idk. I find it interesting, I guess.
Courtney Love and Patty Schemel. The lead singer and the writer are not the same person.
Possible murder victim: Prince
Drummer: Sheila E
no?
Who wouldn't want to be whipped by Shirley Manson? I know I would, at least a little bit.:D But yeah. These blinds are usually pretty obvious, so I too think this is supposed to be Kurt/Dave Grohl, so +1 to those guesses.
+1 To everyone that said Hole, this is obviously Hole, knew it immediately. I'm seeing MD catching it first and Jon explaining it later, there's probably people in between.
Everyone knew that Cobain wrote most of Love's/Hole's big hits. Schemel the drummer now has a wife, it's not that big of a stretch.
What about No Doubt and Gwen. Drummer couldnt get close because of Gavin Rosedale for many years.
Hole is a disgusting name for an all girl band. I love the name 'The Cramps'. Hilarious.
It's the drummer for Hole, who is a lesbian. Whether or not Cobain wrote Hole's hits, he is the reason we all know who Hole is because he hooked up with Courtney while being the most famous rock star in the world. Also, I highly doubt Cobain wrote any Hole songs, save the Nirvana songs Hole covered (Old Age and Pennyroyal Tea); Kurt was extremely lazy at the end of his life and much of In Utero was written during Nevermind!
Patty Schemel for the drummer, Courtney Love the singer the drummer wanted to be whipped by. Hole is the band we know because of the songwriting of possible murder victim Kurt Cobain.
Great guesses for either the Hole drummer or Butch Vig, either one fits very well! Damn you people on this site are sooooooo good:):):)!!
The descriptors would be different, i'd think, if it were DG/KC/Nirvana. I'm going with Hole.
