Blind Item #7
When you can pick up the phone and call Mark Zuckerberg, I guess you get the social media handle you want even if it has already being used by someone. They didn't even bother to ask the owner because they are so entitled.

One of the Kardashians, probably.
ReplyDeleteMegan Markle and Harry?
ReplyDeleteMarkle?
ReplyDeleteread about this somewhere. Its Harry and Meghan.
ReplyDeleteThe chump that lost his ID tag to the two new assholes from England on twatter or IG.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who has had multiple cases of ID theft pulled on me, I can only say, AWESOME. I wish I could say I was fucking surprised.
ReplyDeleteBut the only thing that would surprise me is if/when Zuckerberg finally gets prosecuted, convicted and thrown in prison.
So if it is an article in the DM, can it be considered a “blind?” Not in my book.
ReplyDeleteAnd we'll never be royals... (thank God)
ReplyDelete++++++
DeleteFWIW, Instagram says the account was "inactive." And they changed the guy's handle to something similar.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-47813521
DeleteIt's a funny story, actually. The guy lives in Sussex and is a fan of a team called the Royals, so his handle was Sussex_Royal, and had been since the days when Meg was still married to Trevor Engelson.
ReplyDeleteNow that she's acquired Harry the handbag, she wanted the name for their own Instagram account, and perhaps Harry made a phone call to Zuckerberg, whom he has met.
So they simply took the name from this ordinary bloke, who is a 55-year-old suburban driving instructor. He seems like a pleasant chap who wasn't on social media much. A few hundred quid or a phone call from Harry and he would have given up the name without any hesitation.
But instead they went for droit de seigneur. What a PR own goal.
And they push PR feel good stories to try to get people to like them more yet they pull entitlement shit every chance they have. Used to like Harry, always felt kind of sorry for him. No longer.
ReplyDeleteAnd then, the very day after the launch, Harry a speech that included the idiotic remark that "social media is more addictive than drugs and alcohol."
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Zuckerberg was thrilled.
Both Hazza and his Ho are disgusting, repulsive human beings.
ReplyDeleteNutty, I love that you timeline MM to who she was married at the time, or dating. It's like "back in the Reagan era."
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well, she seems to go from one man directly to the next. Trevor-Hockey Player-Chef-Harry.
ReplyDeleteNot sure who the lucky fella or fellas were between Goldman-Guiliano and Trevor - actually, I'm surprised that's never been filled in.
And supposedly she left her internship at the US Embassy in Argentina after a couple of weeks to run away to Spain with an older man. He's done a good job of remaining anonymous.
lol @ sucker Brits. The system says certain people are officially better than others. And the betters? Dickheads like Harry, Diana, Meghan Markle, and the Ducchess of Pork.
ReplyDeleteHave some dignity, Brits. Rise up and toss these welfare bums out.
Hey, I call also pick up the phone and call Mark Zuckerberg directly! Now whether he picks up or not is an entirely different matter!
ReplyDeleteThey stole the Twitter one also
ReplyDeleteNo, Kevin is still holding the fort on Twitter.

@J, Eh, everyone has masters. The Brits were just honest enough to write it into their laws. And really, given their recent parliament and PM, would a full on monarchy be that much worse? Probably wouldn't have surrendered to France and Germany without a fight. I wonder if the bureaucrats in Brussels make every British MP suck their d!cks, like a weekly rotation, or is there just one designated cocksucker sent from London every month?
ReplyDeleteBrayson, maybe Meghan volunteered.
ReplyDelete@J, Nah, having trains run on them is just another holiday for backbenchers.
ReplyDeleteYou know folks might have Harry and Meghan all wrong. He might have been saving the crown money by buying her instead of just leasing.
It's loathesome Harry and Meghan. I am so naive I thought the man who owned that handle sold it off for big, big bucks to an intermediary negotiating a deal. Alas, Zuckerberg works on the expropriation model. Just take it and screw the little guy. Nice.
ReplyDeleteOh no not my Facebook page... I guess cum sluts 2020 was taken already
ReplyDeleteAccording to ancestry.com, I'm descended from an english lord and lady. Hands up for everyone who thinks that's exciting! Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
ReplyDeleteVery excited for you. Just your luck to be on the distaff side of the fam. That whole first-son thing is powerful.
DeleteKevin is giving up his Twitter. His final Tweets:
ReplyDelete“Due to the constant abuse I have been receiving I have made the decision to close this Twitter account. Should free it up nicely for anyone wanting the sussexroyal handle. Just to put the record straight I have never received a penny nor do I want anything.“
“All I have ever asked is for an apology from Instagram. I continue to say I have nothing against Prince Harry or his family but that does not put people off the abuse.”
So much for Markle’s anti-bullying campaign, with that wonderful hashtag #hellotokindness.

ReplyDeleteI'm do not know or ever met this Bueller.
