Ariel Winter?
+1. the thing for her cousin
+2 Ariel Winter
Jeez, people need to give Ariel Winter a break, she just shared a link to her cousin's already existing gofundme page, with "this is my cousin Tino. If you can, please consider donating to his recovery fund. Anything helps. I love him so much."
Maybe the cousin didn't want to be beholden to her money for the rest of his life. Maybe there's a reason she doesn't want to cut a giant check to those relatives. Maybe she's willing to swoop in to cover any shortfall. Who knows what the family dynamic is there. I have several cousins I haven't seen in decades, if they were in need I'd immediately share a link for them but I'd take a little extra time to figure out how to best help them financially.
Really Brayson? You are better than this.
Love, YoSoyMilk
@Saetia, She's being punished for doing a good but not good enough thing. "If you can, please consider donating" isn't exactly very strongly worded language.
No idea who she is. Glad that's the case.
No idea about the acting classes.
Seriously, people cannot afford their own health and dental and she makes at least $100,000 per episode. If she donated the $15,000 to her cousin it would be tax dedcutible.
Ugh...celebrities.
It is like Leo lecturing on climate change then owning mansions/ charting private jets and yachts and is seen in suburbans....eye roll.
"GoFundMe"? What shyster thought up that pile of crap?
Enty has claimed that Ariel’s sister and husband have been running an acting school and scamming parents by claiming they will get access to Ariel.
Definitely Ariel posting about cousin's GoFundMe. Didn't her costar sarah hyland experience an almost identical situation a couple of months ago? She obviously wasn't paying attention to the attacks she went thru.
No clue what the reality is, but I'd like to think she could pass along the info, knowing she'd bring a much greater exposure/contribution pool, and wouldn't feel it appropriate or necessary to say in what other ways she is personally contributing. Sometimes people nitpick about the oddest things.
Now, as for the acting thing...that DOES seem like misrepresentation bordering on fraud, with her name attached. She cut the mother loose when she was much younger, sister better watch out. It'd be nice if Ariel could find one or two completely trustworthy people in her life
Yeah, I'm with YoSoyMilk. I'm getting a little sick to death of being nagged on GoFundMe myself for questionable stuff, like my neighbor choosing to pay $24K for his dog's surgery.
@Krab, Well then why don't you tell them that they need to put down their beloved pet instead? ;)
But seriously if you figure out how to have that conversation please share, I've know people that spent more on their pets than their children and never knew a tactful way of broaching the subject.
Hey, if they want to spend $24K on their dog's surgery, go for it, as long as you can afford it. Don't beg/nag everyone else about it, especially when there are so many homeless animals who desperately need help. I once spent $10K on surgery for my dog, but I could afford it. If you can't, then sorry, hard decisions need to be made.
Or then was my other neighbor who wanted money for some holistic juice cleanse/enema/whatever treatment for her stage 4 cancer because her body wants to heal itself etc etc etc sure, if that's true, why all the cancer then? sigh. And no.
Why is it her responsibility to give thousands of dollars over just because it’s family? I don’t think that’s fair for people to be hating on her for it..... I’m raising money for my double lung transplant and I have extended family that are very wealthy and I don’t expect them to cover my would cost. People only judge because she is famous.
She has to have money to support her boyfriend. And once Modern Family is done. I doubt she gets many offers. Lousy actress. Better save some money. Diet pills are not cheap.
I hope your efforts are going well, Lyss16! 🙏
