ENTRANCE MUSIC! Favorite is Glass shattering of Stone Cold Steve Austin! Instant recharge!
rap/hip hop
As I get older more industrial to my surprise. Today's new rock sounds like mopey hippy sh!t, there's no edge to it. Accidentally listened to an older rock station, jeez even older rock makes the new stuff look like Nerf balls, The Tubes singing about a peep show girl and Aerosmith talking about eating the rich, now that's edgy.
rock and jazz
Old hard rock
New alternative & old new wave
Rock
Tom Waits. He's his own genre.
Classic rock.
Love some in all genres, but by percentages, classic rock/pop/older alternative probably win out
19th century Germans, mostly.
Broadway show tunes and opera. I know how old that sounds!
Classic Rock. Def.
Classic Rock and Blues
I'm a waitress and I served The Edge in Jan. I was surprised that the young 20-somethings at work didn't know U2.
Opera/Classical/TV themes like Lost in Space and The Prisoner
Yeah, I hang with a lot of teenagers and they have no idea who U2 is.
(Showed one U2's "New Year's Day" live video on Jan 1 of this year and she turned away within the first minute. "Too slow, and too much 80s dancing," she said.)
The teens I know love Queen, Bowie, the Beatles, and Michael Jackson, along with current stars like Ariana, Hozier, Bruno Mars, Imagine Dragons. They also seem to like musicals - Grease, Lil' Shop of Horrors, Hamilton, even Sound of Music.
Another 80s star who they have no interest in is Madonna.
If left to my own devices I listen to a LOT of Rat Pack music...Dean, Frank, Sammy etc. Otherwise random older alternative stuff...Pavement etc. I'm not afraid to admit I like 70's Pop ..
Classical/Opera mostly as well as David Bowie and The Libertines.
Jamband (Phish, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic)
Alternative, Americana and 70 soul, 80s. Brazillian music too
Metal and 80s British pop.
Some punk.

Tom Waits, who defies categorization.
60-90’s pop, rock and soul it’s all mixed and I can drive for hours enjoying REAL musicians
Not autotune singers
Disco/EDM/House music. Dance-pop, basically
Classic rock from 60's-90's
Many of the 60's/70's albums were really preformed The Wrecking Crew. The bands given credit learned to play the music AFTER the albums were released. http://www.magpictures.com/thewreckingcrew/
I meant ...by The Wrecking Crew
60's and 70's oldies.
Brasilian. Bossa Nova is the most relaxing music ever. It always puts me in a good mood. And Samba is the most fun.
1960s pop/rock, classic country, 40s standards
Gregorian Chant and Primal Screaming depending on mood.
Eclectic.
Last nite I made a 70s folk rock mix. Gordon Lightfoot, CSN, America, James Taylor .
Night before that I played Broadway stuff and vintage country.

Indie
Whatever Depeche Mode, Killing Joke, Bauhaus, The Smiths, The Cure, New Order, etc is.

Mostly classical and easy listening intrumental for long spells. A short dose of Latin or up beat classic 80's/90's for a lift.
Jazz, blues, bossa nova, zydeco. Stan Getz, Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Amy Winehouse and Eva Cassidy for starters.
Grunge, love me some Alice In Chains. Funny tho, it’s not my era. It’s more my kids era.
