@MontanaM - GOOD! Finally, people are standing up and doing the right thing. I've seen so many pictures of this kid where he looks drugged out of his mind. People who support this are disgusting. He's too young to make an informed decision, he shouldn't be in the spotlight until he's old enough to consent for himself. And I don't even want to think about what's going on with him behind closed doors. Vomit.

Do you really think the kid came up with this himself? Look up his website, and the outlandish description of his accomplishments. Pretty soon it will be just like the Dancing Boys of Afghanistan. ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem with this kid playing with and wearing wigs, makeup, dresses, etc. if that's what he's interested in, and I'm sure he IS able to verbalize gotta interests and if he wants to play dress-up or even hone his slaying skills for when he's older, fine. I draw the line at having him participate in drag shows at such a young age, though.
ReplyDeleteDrag is hypersexualized and extremely exploitative for anyone so young. It would not be okay (to me) for little girls his age to be wearing falsies and pushup bras in beauty pageants, and I feel the same way about little boys in the drag scene.

Instead, he's bigger and more exploited than ever. I am so glad I was born a harmless asshole and not a power mad psychopath because the pickens' are so easy.
