Seth Rogen?
No idea, but so what.
Agreed Seth Rogen
Seth
I was going to say Kevin Hart; didn't the movie he make with Will Ferrell make some prison rape jokes?
If this is Seth Rogen, what movie? Is it superbad? or this is end?
Tell the whiners to fuck off, Seth.
I think Sausagefest had rape jokes, but the only movie I see him speaking out about currently is You me and Dupree. Never saw it, so don't know if that fits
Sausagefest was one of the worst films I've ever seen.
And I've seen Dances with Wolves..
What past actions would Seth Rogen be making amends for? And I haven't heard of any renewed controversies concerning his previous films while he was out promoting Long Shot.
Adam Sandler, The Ridiculous Six.
It's Seth. The move is Observe and Report.
"Observe & Report has already caused quite a stir, containing as it does a scene in which the hero, Ronnie (Seth Rogen) rapes an intoxicated and unconscious woman by the name of Brandi (Anna Faris). The scene is played for laughs: after a series of scenes in which it's shown that Brandi has eaten handfuls of anti-depressants, downed massive amounts of tequila, and is unable to walk, maintain consciousness, or form a coherent sentence, Rogen drags her into her house, and the movie cuts to a shot of Rogen humping Brandi's passed-out, vomit-spattered body. He stops for a moment. She mutters "Why'd you stop," without opening her eyes or moving. Cue audience laughter!"

Sounds like like a real knee slapper🙄
It's clear that nobody here has seen "Observe and Report".
It was an extremely dark comedy. People expected a stoner Paul Blart Mall Cop, they got instead a variation on Taxi Driver, where Rogen is progressively revealed to be a psychotic and dangerous person who has a lot of mental issues, including hallucinations.
There's one sex scene, where he's supposed to be pathetic, as Anna Faris is drunk and half-asleep. The film isn't "filled with rape jokes".
What kind of blind is this?
I love Observe and Report. The scene where the two security guards take out a gang of skateboard punks in the mall parking lot while the Yardbird's Over, Under, Sidwayys Down' is playing in the background is fucking hilarious. And vicious too.
Sideways, for f...etc.
@Murph.
He stops shagging her because she is asleep. He thinks she's awake and "enjoying" until she snores, then he stops and get ready to get off and she says,"Why did you stop."
Not exactly "The Accused".
Observe and Report was in no way funny. Not even in a dark way. (For a fabulous example of dark humour, see Cable Guy.) But I have to agree it was definitely NOT "filled with rape jokes."
Alright so no one has any ideas then. I expect better of you all.
Did This Is The End have rape jokes?
@Krissie....yeah lots. with Emma Watson , Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill
Oh, it's funny. It's a rebuttal of all these stories in which a loser accomplishes something heroic and is a well-adjusted member of the society when it's over. It's a satire on the cult of success in America. Rogen is clearly a psychopath, somebody dangerous, who still manages to catch a flasher and gets celebrated and rewarded, all his past sins being forgotten. He even gets the girl (well, not Faris, the prude one)
That's the same creative team as Eastbound & Down or Vice Principals, and it shows. Every time, this is about flawed men who want to be regarded as winners and try to compensate for their own flaws and failures.
I always like to see the underdog win! Is it more the 'trope of success in America', rather than cult(obsession, fixation, mania) Hope we don't lose the thought/spirit that the individual can succeed.
this has to be adam sandler. he paid tribute to chris farley last week and has made many films that have flimsy rapey humor.
