Kelsey.
Why shouldn't he?
Dad is dead. So his brother, ex wife, wife of brother and Diane from cheers who made cameos.
The dad and dog were the best part of the show.
Without DHP there can be no reboot. It's bad enough John Mahoney is gone, though I'm sure Moose (Eddie) has sired enough heirs to carry on the line
Niles was always my favourite. Just looking at him made me laugh.
Agreed, Kelsey, but it was a relatively small cast!
E- I agree, with the dad gone, they've got to have Niles!
Perhaps this is more about the crew from the radio station? Roz, Bulldog? I didn't see the last couple of seasons, did Frasier marry? Perhaps they'll just explain away the wife
Kelsey is the only one really required for a reboot. They just introduce new quirky characters. Would really miss it if Niles was not around though. Easy to explain dad's death and divorce. Since Bebe N was jsut in news saying she hasn't been approached this blind is definitely Kelsey.
Kelsey can't do any other character that people will accept. After 30 years Frazier should just go away for good.
I would like there to be a giant snuggly pitbull, maybe named Mouse.
Frasier was moving from Seattle in the last episode so none of the characters from the series are needed. That said, I love all of them. Frasier beats the hell out of anything on tv these days by a long way.
There are like five characters. Either you invite them all or what’s the point?!
If David Hyde Pierce isn't there, I can't watch. The show needs Niles for the dynamic to work. Bad enough John Mahoney isn't here anymore.
Kelsey can go get hit by a bus. That show isn’t doing a reboot. He is a delusional narcissistic prick.
I got to see DHP on Broadway with Bette Midler in “Hello Dolly”. The guy was born to play second fiddle, and probably does it better than anyone working these days. But he is essential if there’s a reboot.
He has already said he wants everyone back for the reboot; wanted to do it with everyone, so i’m Not sure what Enty is talking about.
I loved Frasier (and I hate most TV). But they don’t really need to bring it back.
ix-nay on the itbull-pay, please.
Yeah, no pit bulls. There's enough of them n shelters, unadaptable.
Agree with Texasrose...the only person required for a reboot of Frazier is Frazier. They just introduce new characters. Move him out of Seattle. Poor dead violent drug ridden cesspool Seattle. One really interesting thing they could do is have Frazier be "red pilled" and no longer the Liberal he was in the 90s, like many other of us. He's a talented actor and he can pull it off. I really doubt DHP wants to come back full time but he could come back as the still ultra-Liberal brother in several episodes.
I lost track of Frazier after the first few seasons, but I would probably watch it again. There was something magical about the show, the perfect recipe at the perfect time.
In any case, they really shouldn't bring back that dumb, grating theme song.
I'm thinking Patrick Stewart in his new Star Trek series.
I liked Daphne (Jane Leeves sp?) and loved Niles, but the tension between the two as secret admirers lost some sizzle when they finally got together. She was great on hot in cleveland. I do agree, though, that niles needs to be included. Frazier / Kelsey Grammer with no buffer (Niles or his dad) is abrasive and hard to watch. Kelsey Grammer was great in the last tycoon - but more of the smug arrogant character that frazier is. However, against type, he was also wonderful in Like Father - the Netflix movie.
Ugh, save me from another reboot.
