Blind Item #8
Once a year like clockwork we are treated to this one time B-/C+ list celebrity who is only relevant as a celebrity once a year and only on his own initiative. One of these years he should go ahead and talk about his living situation with his significant other. He won't though because he thinks it will take from the story all of you know.
Larry Birkhead?? Anna Nicole Smith Ex at the Kentucky Derby??
ReplyDeleteProbably, though I doubt anyone gives a shit what his living arrangement is today.
DeleteHonestly, Anna Nicole Smith was a cheezy gold-digging D-list junkie "celebrity" who was washed up when she died and who today MIGHT barely be able to get a gig as one of the Real Housewives.
You got it MD- looked at past years. This is his 'thing'. Daily Mail confirmed!
ReplyDeleteuh, I think we all know that Anna he didn't have a love story. She just wanted a cute boy to knock her up. As soon as she was pregnant she took off. His daughter looks exactly like him. Sad she has wonky eyes.
ReplyDeleteThey look normal now.
Delete@bleu Rea Housewives wouldn’t have Anna Nicole Smith.
ReplyDeleteHa, I was wondering after I posted whether I was being too generous in saying she might barely get such a gig. The most I can imagine is only as a one-season trainwreck almost stunt casting thing. She rivaled Lilo for being an uninsurable unreliable legal nightmare waste of time and money, though it could be hard to resist trying once.
DeleteFuckin' Santa!
ReplyDeleteNo one, other than Rita Crosby, cared that he was gay, then, and no one cares now. At least he keeps his daughter out of the media for most of the year. I'd say that's a win for her.
ReplyDeleteHonestly if Larry is gay and living with his lover. That would actually make him more interesting. I would watch that reality show.
ReplyDeleteAt one point Gary took financial care of his entire family, including a nephew. They all lived with him too. They demanded an awful lot of him. He decided to up and move back to CA and the hangers on weren't happy as they then didn't know HOW they would financially survive without him.
ReplyDelete@Bleu she was a sad creature, a hideous person (inside) and proof that money cannot fix your insides or make you happy. Andy Cohen probably would put her on there... the NYC & BH versions are full of druggies already. Lol
ReplyDeleteSo I just googled them and Danilynn is absolutely adorable although I remembered Larry being cuter than he was lol She was wearing Anna Nicole's hat from a previous derby and it made me wonder....can you imagine growing up and not knowing your mother, but knowing she was Anna Nicole Smith?! Makes me wonder if she'll want to emulate her mother or not as she gets older. Those videos of Anna before she passed away were pretty messed up, I can't imagine that being my mom's legacy.
ReplyDeleteGenius, MDAnderson, you have been en fuego of late!🏆
ReplyDeleteMy mind was like, ummm, Seabiscuit? Who are the Derby commentators? Bahhh...great job!
@bleu I felt the same way about Anna Nicole - couldn't understand the fascination people had with her. However, it cannot be stated how overblown the press coverage of her death was - I remember it being nonstop on all the main media outlets and I kept thinking 'why'? But someone (a lot of someones) out there must have been interested otherwise why devote so much airtime to her?
ReplyDeleteWhen you have the greatest pair of fake tits ever and are willing to put anything in your mouth, of course she would be a big deal today. How do you think any of these skanks get a career? Talent??? AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.....oh muuuuuuurder!
ReplyDeleteWow MD, that is such an obscure blast from the past, kudos for getting it so quickly
ReplyDeleteGood job MD! I knew it was him as soon as I read it. I don’t even think he ranks as a B or a C, or even a celebrity. He had a baby with a celebrity. I miss Anna Nicole, she was a mess, but she was funny. It’s just so tragic what happened to her and her son. Her daughter is lovely tho and I hope Larry is a good father and takes good care of her. Happy Derby Day!!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, whatever happened to Howard K. Stern? Has he been disbarred yet? Did the video of him and Larry getting it on ever surface?
ReplyDeleteI think he’s done a good job of protecting that kid from the BS Hollywood/reality show bullshit she would have been subjected to if Anna was still alive. So what if he pops up every year at the derby and does a photo op. His daughter will likely be one of the few kids born from celebrity that actually makes it out alive.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people go to the Derby every year, like, a tradition.
ReplyDeleteGood for him. He is hot, gay or straight, and I am grateful that he got his child. He seems like a genuinely nice guy, who is genuine, and could give a F about where he rates on some random "List". The happiest people in the world aren't on a list!
Moose-- GREAT question! I really think he should have been more accountable for all that transpired. It was a bizarre, real life, tragic soap opera played out before our eyes. Once they got to Bahamas, Howard had complete access to everything, and could give or hide anything. Ick, it was all a bad situation.
ReplyDeleteCrazy cat lady & michigan mama completely agree with both of you!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe judgemental holier-than-thouness in these comments is sickening. You're talking about a human being when you drag Anna Nicole, not a blow-up doll. Get a life. CDAN is rapidly degenerating into TMZ.
ReplyDeleteGeth, I don’t think Anna Nicole really cares what is said about her, she’s dead. I liked her, thought she was pretty and amusing but also tragic. But, it’s not really necessary to defend her now. That being said, I wish nothing but the best for her daughter although I somehow don’t think she will have a normal life.
ReplyDeleteWhy do we need this blind? From everything I’ve seen, he is an excellent father and is very protective of his daughter. Just getting custody of her was a huge deal (and that also contributed greatly to all of the press after her death.) He fought for her whereas many men might’ve given up and walked away. Of course he goes to the Kentucky Derby. He’s from Kentucky. I actually look forward to seeing the pics of them together. I think it’s quite sweet. So what’s the big deal? You’re just being nasty, Enty. And I thought you weren’t going to ‘out’ people.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I met Anna once at a party. So sad. Very messed up. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone with such a lack of self esteem. Truly heartbreaking. She was sleeping with the host of the party (who was a creep, but let’s just say that karma came for him.) He had a live-in girlfriend who was also at the party. The gf was dumb as a post but dressed in Chanel. Anna was in a bikini. They had a huge cat fight.
+1 CrazyCatLady & Michigan Mama
The relevancy of what the two ladies were wearing (Chanel vs. bikini) is not lost to me. I imagine the bikini was more aerodynamic for a catfight. 👙
DeleteI loved Anna Nicole. My former sister-in-law grew up in Mexia with Vicki Lynn, and said she had a rough childhood and rough teen years, then hit it big. She was never equipped (mentally or emotionally) to handle all that life threw at her.
ReplyDeleteShe finally grew up and began to take control of her life, giving birth to Dannilynn, then
BAM - her son Danny died while he was visiting his mom and newborn sister in the hospital. Her heart and soul died that day, and she could never recover from it.
Maybe because I am a native Texan, maybe because we always heard stories of her escapades in Houston and Mexia - who knows. but I will say a whole of of us here loved Anna Nicole. And a whole bunch of us here are happy to see Dannilynn being raised by a very loving dad.
FoxNews was on the tube constantly in our house back then and Anna Nichol's last days were thoroughly covered. Didn't know much about her, but thought she was Dolly Parton kind of beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI do hope Dannielyn has a stable female influence in her life.
Astra, it's not about Anna Nicole being incapable of being hurt by such comments. Sometimes the talk on here gets nasty, small, and judgemental. And thats my cue to exit, for now.
ReplyDeleteGeth, that’s just human nature. Not gonna change it.
DeleteErin, I want to hear about Anna Nicole’s early days! What are the stories?
@Scandi: I forgot to mention that there was a pool 😂.
ReplyDeletePlease take a moment to watch- Satan himself is impressed- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYOhmxz5G64
ReplyDeleteI'm a native Texan too so I have a soft spot for Anna Nicole. I've actually known girls just like her. She just hit it too big too fast and she was not equipped for it. Her Guess ads were spectacular. There hasn't been a model that beautiful since by a long shot in any ad campaign. F the haters.
ReplyDeleteHer Guess shots were exquisite, truly nothing like her since in clothing ads.
Delete@Substance D - Great Post!!!
ReplyDeletePeople trash Anna because they don't understand.
What I want to know... WHAT THE F#CK happened to that CREEPY Jewish lawyer Howard Stern that kept Anna drugged up and followed her every move. I hope he died.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI will never forget the first time I saw pictures of Anna Nicole Smith in a GUESS magazine ad.
She was so damn gorgeous I remember thinking... this person can't be real. She looked so beautiful I thought she was an artist rendering ! A cartoon, etc.
God's honest truth.
I always felt bad for her at the end. She was such a mess.
Wow, I missed the bus on Larry being gay. I had no idea. I think DL is gorgeous and I hope she never makes a step into Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteAnna's Guess ads were so beautiful. In my Google search for those ads, some came up of her daughter modeling for Guess Kids. Those shots are beautiful, as well.
