Caroline Bittencourt
The Brazilian model who drowned.
Is she Caroline?
She is Sandy. Husband is charged with manslaughter for now
@Sandy-think so. You had me thinking the other one with your earlier guess lol
Damien Bechir's wife who killed herself😢
he's charged because he ignored the weather warnings, not because he pushed her overboard
This story reminds me of Julia Roberts movie Sleeping with the enemy.
Caroline Bittencourt...way too many shady things woth this case....she was definitely murdered.
Definitely the brasilian model. Her death story seemed off, from the start.

Caroline Bittencourt...i mentioned this briefly on another blind. Accusing him of negligence of going out despite weather warnings and no lifejackets. From there, really, it is only a matter of whether they believe him about the rest. He claims he immediately dove in after her, but he could have waited a long time. There are so many variables that may never be provable one way or another, so at least they are making him accountable on these issues.
Well manslaughter, but it's probably the most they can prove. Still the prison sentence there is only 3 years.

Sweet diggity, three years is NOTHING!!
I knew that man threw her overboard. Google "model deaths" - it's eye opening. And, this was no lover's quarrel - just think Oscar razor legs and the woman he murdered.
when you re from a COAST area you KNOW you MUST respect weather ... there was soemthing very shady about the brazilian girl case ...

He is only being accused of negligence for not jumping in the water. She was an adult so she also is responsible for checking life vest and things like that. If she was a minor or someone with mental problems he could get 30 years not just 3 since he would be the one responsible. Is almost the perfect crime really, how can you prove he waited 3 hours or 3 seconds to jump on water? Or if he jumped at all? Police didn't believe him, neither did the judge. The Southeast of Brazil has been profoundly affected by the excess of rain storms, Rio basically became Venezia in march. That fact makes his story even harder to believe, everything is fishy in that case.
Guess Police did what they could to give the victim some justice, even if 3 years for murdering her basically is nothing is better than nothing at all
