Blind Items Revealed #2

May 10, 2019

It was nice of this trade to finally acknowledge that this foreign A++ list film festival has evolved into just an elaborate cover for yachting. If they had wanted to be helpful though, they could have called out all the producers/directors/buyers/actors who fuel that business.

  1. Good Job Leonardo diCaprio is in Cannes to show that it's still all about acting.

  2. Can we talk about the heavy push of casting couch climber/yacht-girl Amber Heard? She was on a major "I'll eff you for a part in your next movie" tour. She is pure filth.

  3. As an Atlantan, you'd expect Amber to be useful around a yacht.

  4. She’s from Texas.

  5. @Sunkist-Amber has got a movie that is premiring there. Take your misogyny elsewhere.

Look at the d list eastern european reality stahs that are there that no one has every heard of.

  6. @Thursday: Being pure filth and having a movie premiering are not mutually exclusive.

  7. Is there a link to a Hollywood Reporter story?

  8. There are a bunch of Prostitution stories in THR. Google= The Hollywood Reporter Yachting Prostitution.

  9. More proof of how great the USA is. Our cum pigs are in demand around the globe.

  10. You are right @Aquafirl--they are not mutually exclusive. I am curious though what movie she is premiering? I am not aware of any movie she is premiering, but isn't it misogynistic for you to ask me to go elsewhere me being a woman you are being misogynistic toward me for simply having an opinion which BTW was partially formed by the blind here about how: Heard 1. gaslighted Depp, 2. Extorted money from producers using Depp's name 3. Did all she could to get power of attorney over him 4. Slept with Momoa and the producers of Aquaman to get the part while married to Depp and etc....It was a revealed blind item (revealed July 4, 2016. And before you call me names again or call me a Depp sympathizer, I am not a Depp fan but I am anti-Heard because she PRETENDS to be a feminist and victim for attention when she is actually a monster.

  11. The Count has taken something pure like yachting and turned it into something sordid. That's just wrong!

  12. @Doleman - LOL. I say why is it misogynistic to call a whore a whore. Own that you are a whore. It's "the world's oldest profession" right? But don't put yourself in danger on these yachts, where women are consistently physically assaulted by men to get a part or a sack of cash and then go on an "I am a feminist victim of abuse" tour. If you sell yourself, and get the shit beat out of you, time to get another profession besides selling yourself by having sex for money

  13. @sunkist

I think the whole yachting thing is amazing. You would think such attractive women would have a lot of safer and more traditional avenues available for them to make a living. One wonders why they do it?

I don't personally use the term "whore" all that much. It's is awfully pejorative and, if I were to use it, I'd likely only direct it at somebody I personally didn't like. Or possibly to make an outrageous joke, but it's a tough word to get a funny out of.

Using it out of the blue suggests a person that has an issue with ALL women. I know you began directing this specifically at Amber Heard, a lady who at best is controversial.

I think when most men toss the word "whore" into an otherwise polite conversation, all the ladies butts clench. They veritably bristle. The Count seems more or less immune interestingly. Most people give him a pass I think because of two things:

    1. He is presumed to be going over the top intentionally.
    2. There is art there. Low art to be sure. But art.

  14. The count is trolling but funny. On the term whore, fair enough...prostitute or escort works I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Still no reply regarding what film prostitute-Amber-Heard is promoting?...tap, tap taps fingers...I'm waiting. She isn't in any movie at Cannes.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The term "yachting" has devolved over time so that although the nautical term is used the arrangements undertaken do not necessarily involve yachts.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Heard is actually there as a L'Oreal brand ambassador, they're one of the main sponsors. It's why Cheryl Versiniwhatshername got an invite a few years running as well.

  18. Once again, Enty tries to play "I was the first to talk about yachting card", by implying he did it well before THR.

The piece about yachting was posted ten days ago, on May 10.

But, wait, they had done another one in 2015!

And, wait for it, they had also done another one in 2013. Wow!

Not to speak about the occasional article about common prostitution, like in 2016.

They have actually published a shitload of coverage about yachting in Cannes over the years, long before it became the subject of choice here. So, whom am I supposed to take more seriously? The journalists who sign these pieces using their own name or the guy who improvises about today's headlines by the Daily Mail?

  19. Whore is a much more respectable profession than many.

I blame women for its negative connotation, both through slut-shaming (you will never hesr me call a braid by the term slut, unless she is into it) and and as a result of fear for devalued pussy. If good lookin poontang is $250/hr (miss you craigslist glory days) then much fewer dudes are gonna get married and risk payin a divorce attorney $500/hr to fuck em.

  20. Weinstein enabler Tarantino is begging cannes attendees not to spoil the ending of once upon a time in hollywood tomorrow night

i hope every single member of the cannes premiere audience posts the ending

  21. @Doleman: ‘Amber Heard’, a lady’?????? Ha, Ha, Ha!

  22. Jeez who signs your checks? I'm not an OG but I'm pretty sure Enty was talking about yachting before 2013.

  23. Personally I always like the word "slattern" it's got a nice sound to it. But whore gets the job done. Once a female friend asked me if she was a whore. I asked if she'd ever had sex for money or other financial gain, she said no, so I told her she wasn't a whore then. Very clear definition.
And without the word whore we'd never have the awesome "whoremonger" to describe some men. ;)

  24. @Angela- CDAN has had 'yatching' blinds from the beginning (2006). I had never heard of it until I starting visiting around 2008 when the first few big blinds made news. It's more likely that some 'journalists' started looking into it after/or because gossip sites started talking about it.

  25. Yachting sounds so civilized. Nothing like "yachting" could be sordid or unsavory. It takes place only amongst those of haughty particularity, whereas "prostitution" is a proclivity of the bootless and unhorsed.

But what do you call it onshore? The traditional phrase I think has always been "partying", but I'm thinking "Land Yachting" could also get the job done.

  26. Yeah Sunkist, I don't feel sorry for those who'll suck dick in a second for a part, which are 99% of women in Hollywood and the music industry. Unless there are knives or guns threatening you, you always have the option not to do it.
The casting couch is real, everyone knows it, women go to Hollywood knowing this.

With your cheap faux outrage, you and your ilk spit in the faces of millions of girls and women who are raped and abused far far away from Hollywood, and don't have the choice and luxury to just walk away.

  27. @Brayson87 and texasrose

That's simply not true. The blind by Enty is about the Hollywood Reporter "finally acknowledg[ing]" the yachting situation in Cannes. They have actually done pieces about yachting and prostitution during the Cannes festival for years, as least since 2013. It just takes a simple Google search to find that within 30 seconds. And as they don't appear to have online archives older than this decade, they may have put together pieces in 2005 or 2008.

And there was the occasional blind about yachting on CDAN, but Enty suddenly became an "expert" on the issue due to his series of blinds about Bani, the "celebrity sex broker", which started on February 23, 2015. Once again, THR started their own pieces earlier.

  29. @GG, ewww, lol.

Sorry, but no matter what you call it, a whore is a whore. I call a man a man-whore. Who cares, stop clutching your pearls, it's 2019, and if a woman or man can't handle that term, then stop selling your body with multiple clients!

Fine, "escort" in person and "whore" behind the door. You can bet that when s/he is screaming out their dirty, they're saying whore far more than "Oohh ohhh, escort, yes, escort yes!"
