Don't believe the hype. This Southern California city sounding record executive who has been a reality judge and name dropped in a big hit song is a lot of things, including a not very nice person. However, it is not him behind the one named former one-fifth not playing an award show. In fact, executives are scrambling to try and get her on with someone she enjoyed some success with this year. I addressed in an earlier blind why she is for now, not going to sing.

Anybody have ANY idea what this is all about?
Normani was FIREEEEEE at the Ariana concert in San Jose. I was blown away by her performance! Also, Ariana was INCREDIBLE!!!! Enty I am so happy to say that you were wrong on the podcast and she was not boring thank god!!!! Her vocals literally brought tears to my eyes.

This was about Normani being scheduled to sing with Sam Smith at BBMAs, but he had "throat issues" (which he shortly after, confessed to heading to rehab). They then went with her performing with Khalid.
Normani is a talented girl. She was great on DWTS, too.
The trouble is talent show/karaoke singers no matter how good are reliant upon the industry to provide songs/promo. Hence f***ing for tracks. Acts that made their way via touring/writing their own songs are in a different category.
