Blind Items Revealed #6

May 2, 2019

Billboard Music Awards

This A list singer who is seemingly everywhere and has worked with everyone in his short career is still barely old enough to drink. With a smile on his face, he was complaining about the energy in the arena during rehearsals and asked aloud if they could get someone to cleanse the room.

Khalid

  1. As it too to be wasted, you might have heard about Constance Wu's Twitter meltdown of yesterday. The star of Fresh Off the Boat and Crazy Rich Asians started to become quite aggressive when people congratulated her about the Fresh Off... renewal. She would have apparently preferred the show to be canceled.

You may have forgotten this, but Wu was the subject of a December blind item, revealed a week later. Wu was the one who had refused to be in a Star Wars film (like many other actors had done) as the franchise is reportedly toxic now, and who preferred, for the sake of acting, to stick with her show (and the sequel to CRA) rather than taking an easy paycheck.

Truth is that Wu is indeed sick of being in her show (apparently as they've stopped doing something interesting with her character) and who would have taken cancellation as a relief. Starring in a Star Wars movie wasn't an offer she got, it was just a possibility rhetorically mentioned during a cross talk with Felicity Jones (who was in Rogue One), nothing more.

And that's how the blind item sausage factory operates.

    1. Burn tobacco in a sacred bowl. Burn sage. Waft it around the room. It's like all religious symbolism. A little something for the soul. Doesn't hurt anyone.

However, a last minute request to cleanse an auditorium is a bit beyond the Pale unless your shaman is on the bus and traveling with the band. Purifiers are available and you can easily do it yourself.

  7. @Sarton Bander, maybe just something simple, like sage smudges. Although an exorcism would not be out of line. This isn't all that odd of a request.

  8. @Guesser Sage, NBD. But an exorcism??? Yeah, way out of line unless this person is known as a complete whackjob.

  9. Barely is a much misused word on this site.

As for this kid, whoever he is, someone needs to get a grip of him and give him a slap before he starts to disappear up his own arse.

  10. Bad juju is a real thing guys

But you can't exorcise an audience. That would take ages. Maybe you could get a priest to bless the stage or something.

  11. How does this guy even have a career? He adds NOTHING to anyone's music other than "uhh" , "go Rihanna", "uh, yeah".
He should shut up and thank the good Lord for his luck. Dumbass.

  14. He seems like a super humble kid. Even if this is true, who cares? I'm a sceptic but if performing a ritual sage smudge helps him feel balanced and focused, let him. Smaller stars than him make much more ridiculous demands on a regular basis.

  15. It starts that way then ten years later no-one's allowed to look them in the eye. Fame is a hell of a drug.
