Blind Item #12
This boy band has been around for a number of years now with almost no success. They have everything going for them and one of the best teams in the world behind them. Why haven't they disbanded? It is a way to launder money for some of the executives behind the group with all of their own companies billing them for work or services that don't exist.

ReplyDelete5 seconds of summer: Leto's band
ReplyDeleteHow can Leto be in a boy band? Is he the cash behind the wash?
ReplyDelete5SOS.
ReplyDeleteWhat’s the definition of success here? 5SoS had a hit song and they have more notoriety now (at least by name... though I still couldn’t pick them out of a lineup) than they did when they first came out and were in One Direction’s shadow.
ReplyDeleteWhy Don't We for sure
ReplyDeleteI thought Leto's band was 30 Seconds to Mars. Or is 5 Seconds of Summer one of those bands that merged members of other bands à la Audioslave or the [something with Vampires] one with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp?
ReplyDeleteIf this is true, why isn't the IRS involved? I am assuming you are no longer licensed, ENTY. Same as Harvey Levin? You are no better...maybe worse if you honestly make up stuff (as your disclaimer says).
ReplyDeleteBTS's inevitable crash and burn can't happen fast enough for me. I can't take their Twitter hashtags anymore. I don't love Joonnam. I don't care what color NamJoon's hair is. God those freaks get on my nerves.
ReplyDeleteCould it be the British band called The Vamps? They were being promoted a few years back as the next big thing, but haven’t heard much from them lately.
ReplyDeletePRETTYMUCH - They have Simon behind them but have flopped hard.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe some people are saying 5SOS which has had lots of success.
IRL have only existed for 2 years, and toured most of 2018 on the American Idol bill. Seems a little early to write them off as a money-laundering scheme. They do suck horribly, so it's be easy to imagine WTF is going on with IRL.
ReplyDeleteThis is NOT Why Don't We. They are very successful even without many hits, they have sold out tours that sell in minutes, and are now playing even bigger arenas.
ReplyDeletePrettyMuch has NO hits, and there tickets hardly ever sell. This is PrettyMuch.
BTS hade genuine success in the east before they ever made it big in the west. Their problem is the abuse/slave driving that will lead to utter burnout/ poss. suicide. The music is of a better grade than say,1D but like all corporate tools, their blowout will be spectacular. The Jonas Bros. were a genuine band so avoided that fate and made a creditable comeback.
ReplyDeleteMeh your opinion, I'll take 1D over KPop any day every day
