Too late.
I was a fed for 5 years. Won awards, got a bonus but I split. It’s totally dysfunctional and loony. The type of environments where morons get promoted just to get them away from you.
You’d be surprised how many of those psychopaths look forward to dropping the hammer on their stakeholders.
Or maybe not.

I do find it amazing that they didn't just approach the dean's office and offer to donate $500,000 to some USC scholarship or building fund.(maybe they did) Isn't that enough to get special treatment in the admission's office?? Everyone knows this type of thing goes on (huge donations for admissions). I assume the amount needed varies by institution. I wonder what USC's amount is??
Lol crotch war crimes - against humanity!
Felicity Huffman handled her whole situation correctly. Her transgressions were as grievous as Laughlin’s....but still. She confessed,
expressed remorse, and threw herself on the mercy of the court. Prosecutors are probably going to go easy on her. L.L. On the other hand,
didn’t shut her spoiled daughters up and keep them off social media....swanned around, signing autographs....just went about it allllll wrong.
Someone has to be made an example of..
I worked at universities for 10 years in development. You couldn't even get on the parent's council or president's council without committing to a "6 figure gift" which could just be a pledge. Being on the parent's council gave you access to administrators that could make sure your child got special treatment. ahem
You couldn't even pay your way in to those groups without being vetted. I wouldn't doubt it if the more dirt they had on you the better your chances to get "vetted" -
MOST universities are just fronts for their slush funds. It's all about the endowment. The students are props in the scheme. The last place I worked had an endowment of over a billion dollars. This was Obama era. I got to interview the manager of the endowment and I asked him DIRECTLY where the money was being invested. He said "developing nations" - which was appalling to me given we were trying to rebuild a city. The endowment manager laughed at me when I said WHY don't you just buy gold? UT (Texas) has one of the hugest endowments and did just that shortly thereafter.
Universities are where the slush funds slush. The end. This shit about LL etc doesn't scratch the surface.
It's difficult to get REAL information about where the $ comes from at a university. You have to be inside to begin to understand.
As Kip would say..."Your mom goes to college"
I'm forcing my kids to be auto mechanics. Nobody knows anything about fixing stuff. Just charge whatever feels right.
Uni is a bubble Trump is going to love popping in 2020.
The loony uni left is always talking about tax rises...
Trump can tax university endowments.
@momo. Can totally confirm. Worked at a University just down the road from UT Austin for 15 years. It’s a total nauseating shit show.
@Sarton Bander
Excuse me, but hasn't Trump had some unsuccessful experience with universities? For instance, the Trump University.
She played such innocent roles, fairly believably. But she sounds like a shark.
@Angela if you keep believing everything Cabal Media feeds you, your gonna have a bad time...
@Samantha: Never saw LL in anything, and the only place I’d like to see her is in jail.
She went about it the wrong way, but, given the bribes that go on all day everyday at colleges during admissions I do not think she deserves much jail time.
Also, LL was facing at least 5-10 years if she plead guilty unlike FH. People get less for manslaughter.
Aquagirl - I never watched "Full House," but I saw bits of it over the years, flipping channels or clips on other shows probably. She was in some movie I went along to see.
If she is making a deal, guys, who is she gonna throw under the bus?
Thanks for this info. I went to an Ivy League school and it was a bizarro place. It was known to be a big recruiting center for the CIA, so universities can have more than one purpose, I guess. There was a very strong inexplicable network, mostly among the kids that went to boarding and private schools. They all seemed to know each other from day 1.
Regarding Trump U. My husband and I did the course and we made enough in real estate to get us through the 2008 unemployment cycle. I thank Donald Trump every day. He completely changed our lives for the better.
I kind of wanted to go to one of those real estate seminars, half out of curiosity, and half in case it might work. I guess I didn't believe in it enough to fork out the entrance fee.
