Blind Item #5

This permanent A+ list director/actor hired someone to keep the lead actor in his movie from drinking after the actor showed up late three days in a row.

  7. He seems to be following Gandolfini's pattern but I don't think Gandolphini got projects that are even half as good as this movie may be.

    Fool.

  8. Eastwood is 89! I wonder how much of the day to day directing work he does.

  9. I agree with Eastwood/Hamm. This sounds like a constructive solution that is good for movie, and might save Jon's career. I hope this works for all involved.

  10. A movie not shot in Britain, obviously.

  11. Why doesn't he just fire Hamm and get someone else?

  12. I just saw Hamm in Good Omens. That was such a "phoned it in" performance.

  13. Hamm was so good in Mad Men.

  14. That was quite a few years ago

  15. Chris Penn once told me after working with Clint, is "He's shoots, prints and moves on."
If you upset his schedule, you could be out of his film.

  16. @Thia.

Good Omens was very disappointing. I stuck with it as long as I could but in the end those insufferable kids were too much. Appalling child acting.

  18. I've only seen commercials for Good Omens, but even they were awful.

You would think if someone had a chance to work with Clint Eastwood, they would try harder for him.
