Gave out--last week
nearly everyday lol.
Got one last Friday.
Got one this week, along with a box of doughnuts for the office.
Got one last month.
Gave my sister in law's card to a friend - sil is an eldercare consultant.
Is that the same as crop dusting? Cuz I did that last night.
Gave and received a week and a half ago. My company does a lot of outreach, so biz cards are still a thing.
Received last week. A house painter we hired to paint our house.
Every day. I’m in sales.
Received - this month.
I still find them useful when people have hard-to-spell names. Difficult to look someone up online if you can’t figure out how to type in their name. I personally struggle with Polish and Thai names the most.
2 decades ago lol
Yesterday - Swoobie! For sweaty boobies.
Receive—too many—I attend a lot of events and people almost force them on me. (Especially real estate & finance people.) They usually end up in the garbage.
Gave—last week. I find that more and more people just connect with me right then and there on LinkedIn so no need for a card. Even though I have them.
Collect—when I travel & I find interesting business cards from restaurants, etc., I save them and use them as bookmarks.
Today, and yes, people still use them.
Gave my boss's card to an annoying salesman who would not leave us alone. "Here ya go. Here's his contact info including e-mail. Bye-bye"
So funny.
As a CRE Broker, today, I just got back from touring one of my Las Vegas Motel listings to a So Cal Buyer.
At the end, I offered a business card.
The potential buyer declined, saying, "I got your information from the web."
He then showed me his cell phone where I was already in his contacts!
Yeah, Me!
Give em out all the time.
Take em, rarely, just snap a pic of it
I don't have cards, but my husband does and he's giving them out constantly. (He's an IT guy - and when you actually know what you're doing with computers, LOTS of people want your card!)
Today.
Received one last month from the director of the summer program my son attends.
Gave one a few months ago in a letter I mailed out.
Gave one out today.
The cards are attached to my beautiful handmade silk scarves and clothing. Need to reorder. Care instructions on the reverse.
Yesterday!
