Doubt I'll watch, so go for it!
Chace Crawford/ gossip girl
He didn’t ruin The Boys. It was a good show
+1 MD. No to a reboot. I mean come on, it wasn't THAT long ago when it ended.
Really liked The Boys. Never watched GG
Loving The Boys right now, and he's not terrible.
That Dolphin scene still makes me laugh when I think of it. Hahahaha
I had heard The Boys was getting critical & audience praise?
Blood & Oil was already a terrible show, doubt Chace brought that ship down by himself lollll
If you like The Boys check out Preacher and Happy! Garth Ennis and Grant Morrison are amazing. I read A LOT of comics. Sadly Happy! Was cancelled but I have hopes it'll be picked up. It was only one run and they got more mileage than I expected but it's really good. Preacher is just so absurd it's amazing. Humperdoo is just the funniest character, especially when you realize who he REALLY is. If I had my wish Only a Pilgrim would be made into a movie. It was one of the first screenplays I wrote/adapted. The comic can be taken right from the page and used for a script, it's just so good.
James, did Preacher veer very far away from the comic? The first season was phenomenal, and I wanted to know more about the town, esp Jackie Earle Haley's character (he was amazing). Then the town blew up and that was that.
Ah you started off the day with your new favorite word and used it again an hour later, so let's go for three at 2pm eastern OCD's.
I'd say Ted McGinley if the clue hadn't said alliterative.
Yes, I lost track of Preacher after season 1
Preacher has gotten more and more bizarre. I like batshit crazy-watched Helix through its seasons on Syfy and loved 12 Monkeys.
I keep hoping Midnight Texas will be picked up by someone.
What Bulge?.....I mean Beard, beard!! It's def quite a bulg...BEARD! I really mean beard!! But, did you see it?? The bul...ugh, beard! But did u?! Lol!!!!!
I did watch GG, but not til long after it ended, and love it. Then again, I've watched Gilmore Girls more times than I can count... Actually, care to admit, lol! What can I say, I'm permanently stuck in the 90s!
Someone on CBS or abc
Preacher is still good but close to comic not exact. Still very good. Weird time slot
Chace Crawford and some of the GG gang were regulars at the restaurant I worked out in NYC's Chelsea neighborhood. Chace (and his entire family, who often visited) were some of the nicest customers I have ever had - polite, sweet, good tippers, and just straight-up kind. We even commiserated about service work in Malibu - I had worked at Malibu's Paradise Cove Beach Cafe and he had been a valet at a restaurant in Malibu while he went to Pepperdine. They were legit good fucking people. I've worked in a lot of places with tons of celebs and the entire GG crew were legit my favorite customers of all time (besides Cheech Marin who is just the best customer ever). Taylor Momson, Ed Westwick (who refused to eat sushi - raw fish weirded him out at the time, not sure if he's changed his mind), Jessica Szchor and Chace were clearly really great friends and usually had group dinners about once a week or so, were really kind to the entire staff, and even ten years after I stopped working at that restaurant, their demeanor and attitude and kindness as customers has stuck with me. TBH, the only awful person from that bunch was Taylor's mom. She was demanding, rude, and seemed to think she was the famous one. And did I mention she was a poor tipper? Cuz she was.
