Paz de la Huerta?
Poor Paz
Oh Paz. I hope she can heal. She's near to destroyed, poor girl
Yeah shame, Paz is not looking well at all...
The career built on couching in the first place?
Can someone name one goddamn thing this broad has been on? Something people actually watched
@rosemary booker she was on the first season of Boardwalk Empire.
rosemary: several leather couches, several twill couches, several couches upholstered in ticking cloth, and lots of hotel beds.
She was 14 when this started, that's what I read somewhere(?)
"Because she was worried about her career."
Or because prosecution is harrowing for any SA survivor. And she is up against a well connected monster.
+ 1 Rosie
Rosemary: Boardwalk Empire. She played a drunk crazy lady who pretty much laid around waiting for someone to bone her, so not much of a stretch for her.
Paz was the worst choice ever to take down Harvey, even worse than Rose. They all willingly did what they thought they had to do for their careers. Until an actual rape victim sues then this is nothing. Harvey seemed to take no for an answer unless you were a potted plant.
@J. Exactly.
I have always wanted to hear from the women who were not hired because they refused. Those are the real victims. If you willingly slept with people for roles, you are part of the problem. HW and other producers in power will always be the #1 culprit and pieces of shit, but, some blame should be put on the women who slept their way to get jobs who took jobs from women not willing to prostitute themselves for roles.
They're not famous. Their careers were stalled or destroyed for not going along with the sexal harrassment requirement.
She is ugly as sin and can’t piece together a coherent thought, how else was she going to get work?
I disagree MissDavie, and "Willing" is a strange term when it's always the predators calling the shots and making the rules.
No one should have to offer ass to work.
In Paz' case as in some other alleged cases re HW I believe her that it was rape.
RIP Misty Upham btw.
Can't expect her to go to actuary school, or do landscape design.
No, the only "work" she can POSSIBLY do is in Hollywood. So if she sleeps her way into roles, it's not her fault.
Also -- backup excuse -- she simply isn't accountable for her own decisions just because.
Annabella Scioria (sp?) against HW
Ooooh, I take that back. Not a drug user
aren't all their careers made on their backs?
She's just gross
The women who willingly slept with Orca just to get roles are not victims. It wasn't as if they were going to die or be begging for food on the streets if they didn't star in shitty movies. They made the choice to open wide for that grotesque rhinoceros
@ MissDavie agreed... potted plant comment was gold
@Dont mind me - totally agree - ha grotesque rhino
@TeeHee - totally agree
@J - totally agree
@Don't, It certainly worked out for Lana Del Rey, she's bigger than ever.

@Brayson, I've heard of her, but don't think of her as a big star. But she sounds like a skank
Trying to impugn the morals or reputation of a sexual assault victim, in a misguided attempt to protect the accused. What a brand new tactic. The world has never seen that one before.
Prostitutes can be raped, anyone can be raped, you can say yes one day (or minute), and no the next. So, all that shows, is ignorance.
"It wasn't as if they were going to die or be begging for food on the streets if they didn't star in shitty movies."
Sexual harassment in the workplace is illegal. So is sexual assault, anywhere.
Paz wasn't the only one who feared repercussions to her career or may have suffered repercussions to her career. Many actresses have said the same. Others have corroborated that there was word out NOT to hire some of the women who had turned HW down.
Creating an atmosphere in which anyone who rebuffs sexual advances or reports sexual assault faces career repercussions for it, is coercive rape.
You don't understand true sexual harassment. It's not as if Paz, JLaw, etc., were working at a job and told that in order to keep it, they had to sleep with a pig. They wanted in to the workplace and were willing to sleep with a fat, sweaty oinker in order to be there.
And what the hell kind of "career" did Paz have, other than playing a mumblemouthed, drugged up whore for a season on Boardwalk Empire?
Can we get some true inside gossip on georgina chapman please
"You don't understand true sexual harassment."
Beginning with a "you" statement. Noted.
OK look, the law applies no matter what type of career, no matter what level of income. Period.
Not only does it apply in any situation but it's been purposely used as a way of enforcing the glass ceiling and or keeping women out of professions altogether.
I'll use "you" statements, too, then, but in a generalized way.
Some scenes from many women's experience, told in first person, universal you/I -
Want to work in construction? That's a man's game. You will have to put up with us grabbing your boob and our porno calendar, and telling pornographic jokes in your presence.
Want to work in corporate? We make deals at strip clubs. You can't go along. Or if we're made to let you go along, then you will have to put up with being hit on and groped when we get drunk.
Want to go to work conferences? Come to my hotel room late at night, it's part of your job, I have some notes. When I rape, or attempt rape, no one will believe you.
Come to my hotel room. We want to discuss a project. (HW)
Weinstein is not only accused of attacking or flashing or harassing stars but behind the scenes crew/staff women as well. But the law applies no matter if the person stands to make a mil a movie or a dollar a day in a factory.
But thanks (/s) for basically saying that unless they are starving it doesn't count, and that it is fine for men like HW to play gate keeper to women's dreams or careers. Or that if they don't like it they can always go wash dishes somewhere.
That isn't how the law works. There are reasons this is all illegal, and again it's purposely done to humiliate and oppress. "Why we need feminism" - too bad no one seems to know history.
Women have gone through a lot just to survive and still do. But maybe they want to do more than that and no one including HW should block their way. That includes making himself the toll booth.
But yeah the defense would do its best to select for people who think that if a woman's other choice is not 'starvation' it is OK to abuse her. Because no one 'needs to be' a movie star (or other field of their choice) right? WRONG. But the apologists will not stop trying to convince people this is all FINE. And the hive will follow.
Don't tell me. It's too long of a reply. No one can read past 140 characters.
So is Oscar de la Hoya multiple named also? Just wondering if anyone has yet to meet the De family or the La clan.
