Blind Item #5

Out of all the lawsuits in play right now against this celebrity filled organization not named Hillsong, the one they are most worried about is the one which involves child sex trafficking because they know something like that will make members flee and make it tough to sign up new members. It could bring them down.

  1. Scientology, though I'd love if this were Kanye and the end of PMK's church too,

  5. Hard to believe that Scio is still able to sign up new members even without charges of trafficking. No shortage of morons in this world.

  6. If it's $cio, then it's about damned time.

  7. Did you get this from my wrong answer the other day? Why is this not on the Network news?

  8. Really? They’re worried about losing members....not the possible (rightful) persecution of trafficking children?

  14. HMM.....just read jerry falwell's university is heavy into real estate investment.Money is from falwell jr's online university but the real estate goes into his name.... Maybe it is past time to tax religious churches, universities etc like all the other businesses?

  15. Nothing will be done to reform the IRS while Trump is in office. He's hiding his taxes!
A large part Trump's base is right wing evangelicals. They live like oil sheiks with private jets and mansions, all tax free. they are con artists just like him, the sheep only watch right wing evangelical TV and Faux News, so they know nothing else.

  17. @Rosemary .....Both Danny Masterson and Luara Prepon are 3rd generation Scientologists. It is all they have ever known.

I hate that people are so obsessed with cults and negative views of religion (which is always what is reported on...never the positive).

There are so many greats causes churches give back to the community ( not CULTS...there is a difference...because one stalks and blackmails when you leave and the others just pray for you) and if you taxed them...they would no longer be able to afford giving back to community.

Or even other religions like Buddhists and Mormons...whatever...weird beliefs sure to me...but, they are mostly nice people who give back to their community

My local Christian church: Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, volunteering at homeless shelters/ also a DV program, wounded veterans, sitting with people and playing cards while doing chemo....so many great causes)

    1. Agreed. I’ve always said that I REALLY hate when shady, corrupt religious leaders con people out of money, because it gives SUCH a bad name to Christianity. I have seen my share of hypocrisy in the church and at home (*cough* hello, birth family, I’m talking to you), but churches do way more good than harm. It’s the same as anything else in life...generalizations are stupid. But it’s much easier for people to make blanket statements than it is to actually do some research and get the facts. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Spot on! Slow clap! But, positive stories never make the news. People should recognize that. Yet, they do not.

They want to blame the actions of few for their lack of belief or try and hold (speaking from a Christian belief system) religious humans (leaders I would have to agree with most people on) to a higher standard.

But, NOBODY EVER, not God not Jesus...not honest preacher would say that any Christian is perfect...so to non-believers...Christians are just like you. We constantly fall short of the Bible and perfection.....but the difference, is we notice it, admit to it and ask God for forgiveness ( or are suppose to lol)

There was only one perfect human, but he was half God. Of course, religious people make mistakes..the difference to me has always been to acknowledge your faults vs. justifying them. You also do not get to mend 2000 year old texts to fit the "times" IMO. (The New Testament did away with the Old Testament sacrifices/ cultural customs through Jesus.' sacrifice.but, that's just my belief)

Sin. committing wrongs (whatever) is the human "condition." But, there will ALWAYS be a difference between tape recording for blackmail/ extortion later aka a cult/ and being there to listen as a friend and fellow believer when times are tough as many religious people do.

And, I do recognize my own hypocrciy for being on a gossip site while mentioning the Bible. Womp...Womp..Womp...

    1. Most def. I tell people, “I love Jesus, but I cuss a little.” I think God just wants us to do our best. And I do believe that we are held to a higher standard. But to worship any individual and expect them to be blameless is going to end in disappointment. My disappointment in my family is on a much greater scale, because they profess to be such “GOOD” Christians. While they can probably win lots of Bible trivia, they are lacking a HUGE part of Christianity - the love & compassion of Jesus. And because they do claim to be Christian, I do hold them to a higher standard. I’m much more disappointed in people who say they are Christians and then repeatedly act like assholes. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  19. @Freebird...I actually get that...my brother and sister in law are insisters...I mean. Puke. They would not know humility if it kicked it in their own asses (yes, I cusses).

What I would recommended is to stop looking to people to "save you." I do think you should be with people compliment you spiritually and that leads to brings out the best in you.

Speaking from a purely Judeo-Christian background... no expects you to perfect..just own up to your mistakes in the Bible. And, 90% of the super religious people are not "gay" just happy. Hate to break to the atheists. Just because people disagree with you does not make you A. Right or B. Superior intellectually.

But...you keep doing do. Less children from atheists seems like a good idea. pretty sure the same thing was said about Eugenics in the Appalachian region.

    But...then again...fame whores know best.

    1. Not sure how I gave the impression that I look to other people to save me? No one except God can do that. And I only rely on myself, cuz history has taught me that people wil always let you down.

  20. I;m not even sure how Scientology even EXISTS in this world as it does and that it is not automatically crushed into nonexistence, there HAS to be a bigger, government subsidized, involvement, as in MK-Ultra based experiment.

It's not very difficult to find the research on what a bastard that L. Ron HUbbard was and who he was pals with. For christ's sake he quite literally STOLE Jack Marvel Whiteside Parson of Jet propulsion Laboratories WIFE. Anyone here see the miniseries Strange Angel? Yeah, that's the kind of OTO (Ordo Templi Orientis) luciferian bullshit that has infiltrated our ENTIRE society.

L Ron Hubbard and Jack Parsons put a BET out that Hubbard could not start a false religion and get away with it, and he certainly did...

All based on the teachings of Hubbard and Parsons occult pariah, Aleister Crowley.

Jack Kirby and Stan Lee were so enamored by the satanist Jack Whiteside MARVEL Parson that they named their comic book franchise after him and Iron Man is BASED on Jack Parsons, Downey's character being his son.

The entire comic book genre that has turned into a multi BILLION dollar industry is churning out OCCULT introductions to Luciferianism to our children. Each and every element in those films lends a certain amount of peripheral and subliminal imagery, along with imagination and direct imagery that introduces them to the occult. All stemming from L Ron Hubbard and Jack Parsons.

  22. If you dont want to pay your taxes or give any money to charity, start a church like PMK. Just serve some kool-aid in your backyard, put on a mumu and preach to a few vagrants you bring home from outside of Vons
