This foreign born B+ list actress who had a huge franchise and apparently has another with an upcoming movie, will make that upcoming movie her last appearance in film.
Sounds like Lilly but I'm confused by the "apparently has another with an upcoming movie" - does that mean her "other" franchise has an upcoming movie? There's been nothing announced about Ant-Man or the Wasp... Though I do hope they get her and complete the trilogy somewhat.
Evangeline talked about ambivalence about acting, and Dame Maggie might be feeling exhausted (but she will never be tired!)...who else has reason/expressed desire to quit?
I think Evangeline Lilly claimed she was retiring from acting after Lost until The Hobbit rolled around. I don't think she really fits because The Hobbit and Marvel/Ant-Man should count as 2 huge franchises...
Judi Dench is a good guess...I think i remember her saying she thought skyfall would be her last movie due to failing eyesightš¢. Glad she has made more films, but another legend that makes everything she's in better. I hope the eyesight is not the issue.
Evangeline Lilly could use the time off for acting lessons. The ten facial expression limit and stilted dialogue really only got her through the first season of Lost. It's sad when you realize her stand-ins are more talented than she is.
Evangeline Lilly?
ReplyDeleteLOTR and Antman?
DeleteSounds good.
ReplyDeleteThanks:)
DeleteMaggie Smith?? Downtown Abbey and Harry Potter
ReplyDeleteNo way is Maggie Smith just B list.
ReplyDeleteLilly has aged out, so getting out makes sense.
ReplyDeleteLilly never really liked acting to begin with if I recall .
ReplyDeleteMaggie Smith should be A list, but otherwise it sounds like her.
ReplyDeleteCan’t be Evangeline Lily as she has more movies coming out in 2020 so the franchise clearly isn’t her last film
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like Maggie but if it is, the B+ listing is all kinds of wrong.
ReplyDeleteEmma Watson if they do another Little Women?

ReplyDeleteWouldn't they need the wasp for the female avengers project?

ReplyDeleteKeira?
Maggie Smith or Judi Densch, both way higher than B+ though

ReplyDeleteJudi Dench. Artemis Fowl comes out next year.

ReplyDeleteJudi is a good guess too but the B+ rating is still wrongwrongwrong
ReplyDeleteKaren Gillan - GotG/Avengers & Jumanji
ReplyDeleteLisa--Good point about Judi...I would think Dame status qualifies as Permanent A (?)
ReplyDeleteI hope we get the reason with the reveal
judi is a great actress I can admit that objectively, but she's a Weinstein defender to this day. fuck off, grandma - go retire.
