Blind Item #8

Even though this money laundering streaming service is hard up for programming, they have asked for a ton of changes to this series that wrapped a year ago. It stars the former A- list almost network actor and even a year of reshoots and editing have not made it much better.

    3. It's really good. It's basically if superheroes were run like a business. It's probably the best comic book adaptation as well.

  5. MD- I do think we've had something about V Wars needing a bunch of reshoots

  7. THis can't be Boys.. Series didn't wrap. The season 2 was just finished filming and will be released. I bet Amazon will renew it for more seasons. Amazon Prime video is not the money laundering streaming service since Bezos doesnt need to launder money, obviously. Boys is very good.

  8. OMG! V-Wars sounds like total cringe. They should throw in a few sharknadoes to make it watchable. Of course, they'd probably have to be alligators, or something. Crocnado! That's the ticket!

  9. Netflix hs shows on its service from all over the world, they arent hard up for programming, Enty and bloodsucking mf'er Hedge are desperate for their Netflix short order. And we'll soon be back on Tesla's ass if they havent already cost themselves a fortune on THAT short order.

  10. Enty's money laundering description is always Netflix.

  12. #James Howlett.

I normally hate comic book crap normally but The Boys is far better all that usual shit.
I love it. Though that may be because I wasn't expecting much in the first place.

I just don't see The Boys being the show referred to in the blind. It's pretty popular.

  14. How is Netflix laundering money

  15. V-Wars has a good cast, a good premise, if it's bad then someone in charge seriously f*cked up. Or they tried to do it on a shoestring budget like your average SyFy channel show.

  16. @junebug, Well you see people who short Netflix need to come up with various reasons why it's going to fold at any second, so they make up bullsh!t stories, like it's laundering money. The pain they feel at the colossal f*ck up they made shorting Netflix haunts them every minute of every day.

  17. Netflix is certainly hard up for programming, Sandy. Losing everything Marvel and Star Wars to Disney+, and they are losing their most watched shows (Friends, The Office, & Cheers) to Peacock. No foreign show is as big of a draw as any of those.

  18. They're definitely going to take a hit domestically from all the new competition, but they'll still be the international kings of streaming.

  19. International king of streaming is like gold medalist at the special olympics.

  20. Sh!t the whole industry is the special olympics, except it's the audience who is impaired.

  21. I'd rather see original shows than the other shit they are losing. Most of that crap can still be seen on obscure cable tv channels anyway, if you look hard enough. Or want to get up at 6am to watch.

  22. I LOOOVVVEEE The Boys!

  23. Netflix has just acquired the exclusive streaming rights to Seinfeld, which will join the service in 2021, after the deal with Hulu is over. They're far from finished.

Why would obtaining the rights to Seinfeld be a big deal? It's been in syndication for decades and everybody has seen every episode 20 times. If there were new episodes in the works that would be huge though. The big obstacle to that would be Dreyfus who doesn't need the money or the career boost and of course Jerry who would need to go through the motions of being lured back.

Netflix has the Breaking Bad continuation El Camino...that's gotta be a big draw. IDK what else they have. As someone said above you can find most of their crap, but not all of it, somewhere else and it's just "filler" programming anyway.

Amazon Prime is a wasteland also IMO.

  25. I'm new to Amazon Prime. I just finished The Man In The High Castle, and I've just started The Boys. Both are freakin' awesome. Ever since I finished Dark on Netflix, the only other thing I was happy to watch was Conan's shows in various countries. They're all good, but Italy made me laugh harder than the rest.

  26. THE BOYS is fantastic!!

And I didn't know that was Chace Crawford. I have never seen him in anything before except tabloids. But I knew The Deep looked familiar! It's weird how different someone looks with a buzz cut
