Blind Item #9

Usually this permanent A list mostly movie actor who had a big box office summer and has an installment of a long dormant franchise returning, does a lot of promo for his movies. A movie he is about to do press for though, is so bad that he is trying to limit his appearances and wants the other cast to make up the difference. Our actor thinks it will tarnish that franchise installment.

  1. Keanu for Bill & Ted 3.

  2. Stallone. The reviews for the Rambo film were horrible.

  3. Keanu and the new Matrix sequel...? But it hasn’t even filmed yet...

  4. Keanue was my first thought but he wouldn't shirk responsibility plus Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey already tarnished the franchise.

I think this is Tom Cruise.

  5. "it will tarnish that franchise installment"
Stallone Cruise Schwarzenegger every old guy still playing a tough guy role is tarnishing his image all by his self.

  6. Great, another sh!tty sequel but we'll still have to hear people complain about declining theater attendance.

  7. My TV is better than your sh!tty screen, I can pause the movie and if anyone talks during the movie I can kick them out of the house.

  8. Going to say Cruise as well. Can you blame him though? Nicole called him out (which is a joke because the only thing Nicole has ever cared about is Nicole's acting career...NEVER her children as much as she pretends)..... and YOU KNOW.....Tom wants to call her out...and I kind of want him to for entertainment purposes (come on! you call out post partum with Brooke Shields, but, not your former wife...but, oh right !! NDAs)

  9. But, then again... if Nicole outs Tom, Tom could out Keith....soooooo?

  10. Will Smith -- Gemini Man, Bad Boys for Life

  11. Will Smith

Aladdin was the summer box office hit
Bad Boys is the dormant franchise
Gemini Man is the upcoming movie

  12. There is NO way this is Tom Cruise. A single movie does not a franchise make vs say referring to it as a sequel. Plus this is a huge chance for him to return as a beloved character who launched his career. No way. This has to be Keanu or the last Rambo movie.

  13. Top Gun is not a franchise so I would guess Keaunu Reeves and the next Matrix film.

  14. Either Pitt or Cruise. I am leaning toward Cruise but would think he is permanent A+??

  15. Ah, yes... Gemini Man. That movie has been in development for close to 25 years. I read a draft in '98-ish that was geared toward Harrison Ford.

  16. H5, This&That, Rob Zero-- You've convinced me on Will Smith. He is normally a very good sport about promoting...I'll be watching what he does for Gemini Man now

  17. Man people here literally stick with the first or second guess and are content with it. In every single blind. I've lurked here for the better part of a decade and the decline in the site, on both Enty's part and the commenters, is unbelievable. Plus, there are tons of blinds here about D list reality stars and even YouTube stars. Enty, get your sh!t together or just shut this place down. For the good of all of us.

  18. The fourth Rambo was only 10 years ago, still too recent to say it was a dormant franchise before the new one. So my money is on Top Gun 2 with Tom Cruise.

  19. I paid money to see the new Rambo, loved it! a proper 80's action movie.

  20. Downey Jr and those godawful Sherlock films.

  21. This & That, you got it. Totally Will Smith
