Blind Item #2
Speaking of streaming, this very popular Netflix show named after a suburb could have gone on for years longer and kept a huge crew employed, but the former child actress turned addict turned A- list adult actress was bored with it and wanted to do something else.

ReplyDeleteBut, I also could have sworn that I read a blind on this site that she was really upset about the cancellation and was worried about aging, etc?
So? All of a sudden it's her responsibility to keep people employed? That's not how this worlds. That's not how any of this works.
ReplyDeletedidn't she just start a clothing line? Maybe she's tired of acting
ReplyDeleteflower is her makeup line. sells at Walmart
DeleteThey had a great snack table.
ReplyDeleteTierney, she's the Executive Producer, so yes, this is the way it works...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the crew of any Netflix show understand how the industry works and they probably just move on to another show. It's not the star's responsibility to keep them employed.
ReplyDeletes.s. - No. She's able to leave a job - just like anyone else. She's not obligated to stay on a show if she elects to leave. People in the industry are used to productions shutting down - they move on to other gigs. Besides, we don't know that Enty's interpretation is in any way true. Even if it is, I doubt she walked on set one day, flipped her hair back and said... "nah... I don't wanna" and left for good.
ReplyDeleteIn this blind the could have gone on for years, the last one,the show should be canceled. So, we should praise Beal for keeping people employed?
ReplyDeleteThe star has no obligation to keep a crew employed. If those people have talent and skills they can find another show.
ReplyDeleteFirst season was great, but subsequent seasons were meh. Personally, good for Drew for calling it quits. Too many shows these days that drag on forever.
ReplyDeleteRelease the Netflix streaming numbers, Enty. Now THAT would make for great blinds/leaks. (I simply don't believe this had big numbers of watchers or it would still be on.)
ReplyDeleteSorry, didn't see the auto correct. Bezo, not Beal.
