Rub one out.
Put my phone on the nightstand.
I seldom if ever sleep. I am always working.
Even while I sleep.
I love you, @Brayson! haha Great answer.
And my own answer - snuggle with my pup.
last thing before going to bed; powder sheets
last thing before going to sleep; podcast

Check the mouse traps to see if they need peanut butter.
Go to the bathroom then hook up my phone .

It's a must! If I forget, I have to get back out of bed til its done. LOL
What does “powder sheets” mean? You put powder on your sheets? Why? I have never heard of this.
Pee and play a game on my phone at the same time.
@Thia, Thanks!
@Astra, What you don't powder your sheets? I thought everyone powdered their sheets nowadays.
Check beneath the bed and inside the closet for monsters.
To those powdering your sheets...hope you aren't using J&J talcum powder!
No, chili of course.
Turn out the lights & put on eye mask.
rub Everyone's 'Sleep' essential oil on my wrists and behind my ears
Read nonsense articles on Daily Mail so I’ll fall asleep. Can’t read anything I actually care about cuz then I get invested & it makes my brain activate.
Brayson, powder them with what kind of powder?! Seems kind of strange and bad for someone like me, that has allergies! Seriously though what is this?! I have never heard of such a thing!
Before going to bed, brush my teeth. Before sleep, read.
You must love whete it’s not stifling hot or a combo of hot & humid.
Powder on the sheets is mainly a Southern thing, but I’ve powdered mine a couple of times - with cornstarch powder. That’s only cuz where I’m staying right now, they like to keep the house as hot inside as out...and it’s 95° outside. 😩 It helps keep the sweat off & helps to keep you cool.
*where
Also people...Google is your friend. This research tool me all of 15 seconds. 🤷🏼♀️

doors locked, night light on, brush teeth, thank jesus for another bedtime in a comfortable air conditioned bed! goodnight! ahhhhh
Before sleep is one thing, before bed is another.
BB, turn off laptop-put away, turn off TV and light. Check bladder for any drainage needs. Hit the sack. and yeah kikibunny, luxuriate in a clean, safe, climate controlled bed. (The old man checks for any dangers) The best part of the day.
Depends- I usually pray and also put on some type of sleep hypnosis audio.
First thing I do in the morning is have a poo at exactly 6am each day.
Trouble is I dont get out of bed until 6:15am.
EVERY night?
Where do you live?
In an animal research laboratory?
@FreeBird I’ve always said the BEST thing about being an adult is turning my A/C whenever I’m hot.
I can’t imagine even trying to sleep in that heat. (My A/C is on now)
Lately I've been putting on some random video about space on youtube. Very relaxing
It’s SO stupid!!!!!!! 😡 Her husband is an illegal and he likes the heat cuz it reminds him of Mexico. 🙄
Me too!
I’m a compulsive hand washer, so before sleep I slather lotion all over my hands.
Brayson-- You are owning this one! The Hatch reference, and then chili powder made he guffaw!😂
Usually, I flop around til I'm comfortable, say thanks and pray for the opportunity and inspiration to do better tomorrow.
FreeBird I’m from the South and live in the Deep South, it’s always hot and humid here but I had never heard of that. Interesting to know but I’m surprised corn starch wouldn’t just make you stickier and hotter with a thin coating of powder.
Walk through the house shutting off three aquariums and checking the cat's dish - if it's not full, she acts like a real Ahole around 3am!
Read CDAN.
Before bed - kiss my dogs
Before sleep - Pee and turn off my iPod
Jennifer-- what type of aquariums?
@astra it's a thing! i'm a sweaty sleeper who likes to be a cool sleeper and was taught that the easiest way to acheive that is talc powder on the sheets at night. also useful for camping in the warmer months. :)
I would sprinkle powder on our children's beds when they weren't feeling well. Guess it was a mothering thing. Still sprinkle it on ours.
I think it probably comes down from mothers and grandmothers because here in the deep south we not only have high temps but high humidity as well. Maybe they sprinkled powder to make the bedding more comfortable.
Make sure my pets have water.
cry myself to sleep
