Good guess on Mathew Perry. And, yes he is. He missed a friends/ nbc reunion thing a few years because he was doing theater in London. Also, Sophie Turner said she him taking a cigarette break in London/ NY once during his theater days. Poor guy. Sure it really helps him to see his face plastered all over the media.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine getting sober when you're celebrity. I quit drinking 27 yrs ago next week and I was a fucking mess for a long time. it's mood swings all the time, for at least the first year.

ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine even having the details of my friends/ love life already highlighted and or even often straight out lied about or exaggerated and on top of that.... getting sober and staying sober. Idk if it is true but I read on another gossip website that some people were saying he is actually medically sick. He did look wasted/ and that he had not showered in ages though in those pics. Poor guy. Chandler was always the funniest to me .So hilarious to me that the most stable out of all the Friends....is Lisa Kudrow. Married to the same man since 1995 with a kid.
I get the same icky feeling with Mathew Perry that I did when the paps were constantly hounding Britney before her breakdown. It is like the media/ paps want him to off himself.
I feel so bad for MP. What could have been in his past that caused him to throw his life away when he had the resources to do and accomplish anything? So sad

Used to go to AA a long time ago and noticed people didn't talk about the insomnia either.One good sponsor in my groups who did talk about it..........12 step programs are not for everybody but it is wonderful to talk to like minded people.Some areas are better than others..visited a group in Fl. that was better than my groups in NC. They allowed people to talk about drug use as well as alcoholism. NC groups were pretty rigid about that.

ReplyDeleteThere were pics not long ago on two separate occasions where it appeared he was wearing a colostomy bag. That surgery he had must have been worse than we thought, I hope he can turn it all around and get better.

ReplyDeleteHe could also continue to live a long time. Enty and the Enterns are always clutching their pearls about celebs who are “on death’s that door.” But consider Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan. Still alive after all these years! The human body can withstand a ton of abuse.

ReplyDelete@Vita: The ‘New Friends Project’ isn’t really a new project per se. They are showing Thanksgiving-themed episodes in movie theaters. (Not sure if it’s just on Thanksgiving or for the whole weekend or what.) Unless there’s another project beyond that which seems doubtful.

ReplyDeleteHardcore drinker, apparently large daily quantities, plus painkillers added in like sprinkles. Alcohol is a toxin poison, supposedly it damages every organ in body. Painkillers only make it worse.
ReplyDeleteMP would have been better off with coke or shooting heroin.
Aquagirl-- Thanks for the info! I knew it wasnt going to be a reboot or anything like that, but I was hoping something they'd work on together with some lasting power to it. Perhaps they were filmed having a Friendsgiving while they reminisced about the show, and it will be shown between episodes or something? Who knows?!

This is why I am vehemently against drinking. I've lost two loved ones to alcoholism.
