I haven't but I wanted to be on the Real World bad in my 20's lol
No but there are regular auditions on the gambling boat based here for Survivor and Big Brother.
Why on Earth would I?
Nope. And I'm not sure what type of reality show I would want to be on anyway. If you got any novel offers send them my way.
No but the comedians on Foursome: Walk of Shame were hilarious.
Once for MTV VJ hunt, if that counts!
Nope. I can't imagine wanting to.
Not yet? I audition for America's Got Talent Dec 15th in Dallas.
Best Of Luck.
Post a video link.
Do game shows count?
I auditioned, and got on, Wheel of Fortune in 1986. When you still shopped for prizes. I won $3,500.00 worth of stuff, and some lovely parting gifts!
I did a snow angel in a bikini for my Survivor audition video. Thankfully I was rejected.
I didn't audition but kept running across Real World when they were in New Orleans at the beginning of the show. They worked mostly in the neighborhood and I worked at a university where the students were working on the show, so they were in all the most popular haunts for a while there. They kept asking me and my friend to be in shots and we declined and left because once the lights etc started it was no longer a bar, it was a set.
Hell to the no
As someone of a certain age, the Real World was THE show to audition for. Sadly, ya boy Troy knew he would be protrayed as some GenX slacker that just couch surfs and hides his undies in his roommates laundry.
Does Bowling for Dollars count?
Never thought about it, but given the opportunity and the $$$, I'd consider boring the crap out of weekly viewers for a living. I wonder if my cat is interesting enough to make the needed ratings.
I auditioned for the Real world in my 20's.....didnt make it
No, I did work at a few places that seemed like reality shows.
What is this Real World everyone is talking about?
Iam too tired to Google.
Thanks in advance....
@Indie, The place outside of the matrix.
No. The only reality show I'd even contemplate would be that roadshow. Where they race from place to place. I've never seen it but it sounds like fun.
Every day, every day...
I'd rather eat my own feet
I'm with Vic
No. Only one I'd consider would be the Joe Schmoe Show.
Yes.
I auditioned for Big Brother in the UK on around series 3.
A young couple started having full sex in the very, very cold and long queue.
When we did get into meet the production staff they put us into groups of eight.
They asked us loads of questions and one young wannabe was very annoying
When they asked us who we all thought was the biggest twat(their words) we all pointed to the young loudmouth.
We were all sent home bar him.
Told me everything I needed to know about reality TV.
No, my regular reality is tough enough!
I can't even watch reality shows....
No, but a friend was asked to be Denise Richard's "horrible loser blind date from hell" on her show years ago.
He didn't want to because he thought maybe local women would believe it and not "date" him.
Anyways, that was the first time I realized those shoes are 100% fake. I don't watch reality TV so this was news to me!
That seems extreme! You could just say "no"
XD
First Dates & Married At First Sight.
I was single, mid-thirties & desperately lonely. My Tinder date had been on an episode of First Dates & it sounded like a cool/weird/funny story to tell on future dates instead of having to invest time in a hobby.
Didn't get called up for either. Poo.
Yep, and made it on an episode of “Studs” back in the 90’s. Good times...good times.
Went to an open call for season 2 of The Apprentice. Shudder
I made a pilot for this show called Mission: Romance that never made it to television.. it was really fun and I was part of the winning couple :D
Yes, married at first sight in DC - had 3 rounds of interviews, didn't make it
