Blind Item #9

This new reboot of a cable relationship show had everyone sign a NDA. Totally normal because the network doesn't want spoilers. The thing is though, this NDA also forbids anyone from mentioning or discussing any crimes that take place during filming. So, that horrific sexual assault that occurred won't ever be discussed. The victim, in a separate agreement everyone had to sign, said any disputes had to be handled through binding arbitration. The show was not filmed in the US, so no chance to report the crime here. They would have to go back to the country where the show was filmed.

  5. And how about Pete Davidson's NDA for his comedy audiences. $1 million dollars if you break the agreement? Good luck with that, big dick energy!

    1. How long would it take to get $1M by garnishing the wages of a Pete Davison fan? Pot sellers usually don't report their earnings LOL.

  7. How does a crime get protection by mere NDA ?
Isn't a psychologist too bound to report a crime despite doctor patient confidentiality agreement!

  8. @Indie, Supposedly they'd have to go back to the country to report the crime. I don't believe crimes are protected normally.

  12. NDA's can't and don't cover crimes. They do however put a libel chill on the matter. That and the fear of never being hired again- which is why bad things keep happening. The complainant will just go to production asking for money. They went to do the job for money, so this is just asking for more. Production may not like it, but they signed the NDA, so they can't complain either after they pay out. And they continue to work. Insurance probably goes up though.

  13. Wasn't there a contestant who claimed after she got drunk and exposed herself some guy went down on her outside in the pool. They filmed it...it was one of those bachelor franchises. One sec....lemme look it up.

Bachelor in Paradise. That was the name of the show. I remember reading about it in Daily Mail. Oh another tid bit: it was filmed in Mexico.

  14. NDA's cant be used to cover up a crime,if the company is American it can be sued regardless of where the crime took place. If a clause in the contract specifically states no criminal act can be reported it shows in black and white that a criminal act was anticipated by the company and that they were complicit in trying to cover it up e BS or simply a company banking on the stupidity of it's employees falling for it.

  19. I’m guessing it’s that boat show. With the crew that messes around with each other. Below the Deck - that’s it! They’re out at sea so prolly not in US waters.

  21. WHY do these idiots continue to allow themselves to be victimized? Have some self respect.

You don't have to act...you can always learn to code.
