Blind Item #30 - Golden Globes

This B list actress had a long run on a network hit that is now defunct. Since then, there has been a lot of one off roles. On the red carpet leading into an after party, a reporter asked her about Scientology and their two sided-ness when it comes to rape victims and how our actress felt. She tried to get the reporter kicked off the red carpet.

  3. Reporters who insult religions are rarely welcome. Did the reporter hit up all the monotheistic believers about their religions' scandals too?

  5. MAD MEN wasn't network and Moss was on WEST WING but she got MM AFTER so she is hardly one-off. Elfman did D&G but then has had regular gigs since, even most recently on FEAR THE WALKING DEAD after TONS of tv work. I think this has to be Erica.

  6. I would ask a raging catholic about pedo priests. If you're public about your "religion", it's fair game. And that's how Scio plays it.

    1. The reality is that pedophilia runs deeply, very deeply in Islam and Judaism, every bit as rampant and institutional as pedophilia in LDS,Catholicism,CoS, Jehovah's, Protties, etc.
It just doesn't make it into Western media very often & is presented as some random one off.

Fear and silence are common reactions.
    This solves nothing.
There are people, esp. vulnerable young adults, who are lost in these types of groups. We need to find ways to get through.

  12. Let's not omit the pits of the bodies of abused children on the grounds of numerous protestant orphanages throughout the world or the 280 Southern Baptist ministers and deacons recently accused of sexually abusing parishioners. No religion has a high ground, not one.

  13. Scientology is no religion! It's sci-fi fantasy nonsense along with mind control!

  14. Yep real religion is fantasy and mind-control.

Upgrading it from magic to sci-fi was L Ron Hubbard's brilliance.

  15. Do not trust religions begun by men. They exist to exploit women.

  16. Urban reader..ditto...also from the book, They Thought They Were Free, the 14 points of fascism...."Religion and Government are Intertwined

Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions." A good example of this was g bush and his appeal to fundamentalists while watching over the 9/11 false flag and subsequent wars on the middle east.

  17. You can't persecute people for their beliefs, only their actions. Christianity started as a cult that got fed to lions, maybe we can try to do a little better.
