I’m not sure where people shoot up except in their arms and maybe hands? Would people see just a random bleeding spot somewhere else on a person and associate it with needle use?

I've also had acupuncture, including in my face & forehead (a massive bleed zone) with no bleeding whatsoever.
@Astra, I don't know, every time I've seen someone shoot up they didn't really bleed that much. That's always fun when you're hanging out and someone whips out a needle and works like it's just a juul. I've seen track marks before but at worst they look more like sores than bleeding wounds. Yes you can shoot up almost anywhere you can find a vein.
