Jon Hamm?
A Hammhanded attempt to hit on the ladies..
An A- actor, who doesn't fare as well in movies as he does on TV, got drunk at a party and hit on someone inappropriate. I vote for...all of them. Seriously, this could be about 50 different actors just off the top of my head. Is it really even BI-worthy?
Behave Hammaconda just behave..
That's awesome. I can't stand Jon Hamm. He really does get mean and self entitled when he gets drunk. Overrated alcoholic.
i don't know anything about hamm except for 'mad men.' he was the perfect don draper. i can't think of anyone who would have been a better don draper than him. he's probably just as big a drunk as don, too, but whatever, he was great in that role.
I just became fully aware of The Hammster this past summer when I binged Mad Men. I knew he existed because someone in my office would leave People and Us on the break room table and I would flip thru sometimes waiting for my lunch in the microwave. No real interest, though. But when I finished the series, I googled him to see what he's been up to since. In every interview (on film or just print), he seemed perfectly lovely. Sincerely. I was expecting an a-hole. And I've been around here since the beginning, Sooo ...anyhow, that's why I am not going with The Hammaconda (although, I would, at least once...purely for research purposes, of course). So my guess was John Krasinski .... Or Topher Grace...also, isn't Hamm a recovering alcoholic (not that it always matters)...
Except Krasinski is starting to do well in movies. A Quiet Place did really well.
That's true....
Globes should be fun! Cut hamm off early...
He's phoney. I am going with Hamm on this one at the Vanity Fair Golden Globes party. Hopefully one of these times in the future he gets his ass kicked. He needs to take a page from Keanu Reeves and be respectful. Not everyone wants a old drunk womanizer touching them.
Perhaps the gal threw a drink on him or drew her claws? If he got handsy, all bets are off!
Listen, Hamm is from St. Louis and comes back often. I last saw him this spring during the St. Louis Blues Stanley Cup run. The downtown bars were overrun with star sightings - - from Brett Hull to Jon Hamm to John Goodman. Yeah, I know that's not A-List Hollyweird sightings, but they're all hometown and their 'ours'. Anyways, a group of us ended up in a standing room only bar after a game (no, we couldn't afford tickets, but it was an outdoor party for a 6-square block radius, so tickets weren't necessary as jumbo screens were everywhere as well) Jon Hamm was in the bar, sitting at the bar in the last stool by the wall (before the kitchen), minding his own business, talking w/the bartender, posing for selfies, laughing and talking.... then, he quietly bought a few rounds for the entire bar - at least those not too inebriated (it was up to the servers to decide) but I know I drank at least two freebies, with the waitress waiving cash off ("No, it's taken care of"), had the bartender ring out running tabs, then quietly left through the kitchen. I think he gets a bad rap. But, there are many that catch them one time and they're having a great time, catch them another time and they're total a**holes.
I say Ricky Gerhate.
JeweledSkye-- Great story! Yes, I doubt anyone is purely one way or another. I believe most negative claims are blamed on Hamm's liver. Thanks for sharing a time when a kind and generous spirit won out. Hopefully, that will be the case tonight, as well.
Was it with Karen Gillan? I hear she'll kick you in the balls if you cross the line.
@JeweledSkye. Thank you so much for sharing. A blind "story" is only as good as the person sharing it. :)
