Ed O'Neil already had his best show, Modern Family was just to top off his bank account.
Correct, Ed already has his big hit. Modern Family was a pension top up.
I liked Ed as Joe Friday on the short-lived Dragnet reboot.
Why should they have to help publicize the last few shows of this crapfest?? A waste of their time, nobody who doesn't watch it is going to tune in to see it end. It has a built in audience nothing more.
They have done plenty for this old show over the years... they both know it’s time for I all to be over with. Good for them.
Doesn't the show speak for itself at this point?
Why are they promoting the show for critics if it's ending anyway? Maybe Ed and Sofia decided to skip the annual ritual of blowing critics so a show doesn't get bad reviews.
Modern Family just needs to go out quietly the sooner the better. It's had a good run.
The show is almost ever, and they're both hilariously rich, they don't have to do anything they don't want to.
Unless the producers are laying the ground work for a spin off or two. That scenario is too frightening to imagine. Just think about BBT and Young Sheldon.
