Blind Item #9

Once again this foreign born A+ list mostly movie actor took an opportunity which should have been a positive uplifting moment, to trash talk his late father. It has been and always will be just another way the actor shows what kind of tool he is.

  3. Ryan Reynolds and GG Awards for Arts.
Tell us more Enty. Is there a reason he's so harsh with his late father?

  4. skipper -claims his dad was emotionally vacant and abusive. I have no idea if that’s true, but I think Ryan is sober because ofbit(his dad drank). Also died of Parkinson’s I think (could be misremembering )

Yep, he's had Parkinson for about 20 years before passing. Ryan always said very clearly they had a bad relationship, but considering how often he subtly trash his dad and his memory I was wondering if he was really abusive too, because the bitterness he still has towards him can't only be due to not getting along, that's why I asked. I didn't know his dad drank, for example.

  6. When a woman speaks out about childhood abuse she's brave, men are called tools.

When a person is abused by a parent, who is meant to protect you, I can imagine it would cause life-long bitterness. emotionai abuse is rough and still largely misunderstood.

  7. @gauloise: I think the tool part is more about him doing it in public, not the fact that he’s a male.

  8. Maybe his dad was terrible. Why should he be be nice about it? There's enough fake in the world, let him talk shit if it's the truth

  9. @gauloise Ryan's not called a tool because he's male, he's called a tool because he's, well, a tool. Which I'm sure is at least somewhat related to his father being abusive, but grownups are responsible for the choices they make, including how they treat other people.

  11. Remember those photos of Kaia Gerber at age 5 bound in duct tape. Gerbers said it was all a “ joke” but charged employee with extortion. Then listen to Speilberg daughter. Google Jerry Van Dyke daughter. These people are sick!
Hope Iger step down signals the Mouse House about to be exposed.

  13. Lots of parents are pieces of sh!t. Unconditional love is only supposed to be a parent's love for a child, not the other way around. If he's still talking smack about his father, it probably means he's still carrying around a lot of pain.

  14. If he hates his dad so much why did he name his daughter James after him?

  16. People only talk crap about older family members, when said members are POS.

  17. +1 @MissProper. And he said he was so glad that his dad got to meet her.

If you’re still in pain from your childhood, talk to your wife, talk to your friends, talk to a therapist, but why spew negativity about your deceased father in public? And what kind of example are you setting for your children (especially James), by doing that? Now that’s one little girl who is gonna need tons of therapy. My dad was a POS but I named you after him. Oh, plus I gave you a boy’s name. Really?

  18. His daughter's name is James? Talk about continuing the abuse

  19. If you go to Celebitchy.com, they all applaud and praise Harry for airing his emotional issues in public. Here men are tools and now Ryan gets insulted because he spoke in public. I'm not a big believer in airing my dirty laundry but if someone wants to talk about childhood abuse, let 'em. It doesn't make them a tool and obviously Ryan has a lot of emotional scars, whether we know the details or not. Leave the guy alone Enty.

  20. If his dad was abusive then he has a right to speak up and out about it. Fuck off.

  21. If his father was an abusive drunk then why should he be made to shut up about it? Some parents are mean bullies. If he had one of those then good on him for calling a spade a cnut.
