Unlike those moron jurors at least the judge recognized Weinstein was a serial rapist.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't all the jurors, just the simple ones who thought he was innocent of the worst counts.
ReplyDeleteHarvey expressed no remorse nor did he deeply and sincerely apologize to any of his victims. He said, in essence, the #metoo movement began with him and now thousands of men are being accused of the same thing. He said he and other men are confused by this! He also said it wasn't about the power, it was about making good films! He claims he never had any power (in Hollywood) because his company was not that big. Right. That's why Meryl Streep referred to him as 'god' in one of her acceptance speeches! I will never forgive her for that. Even though there will be an Appeal, no judge in his or her right mind would overturn the verdict. I cannot imagine what is going on in his mind right now. His lawyers convinced him he was going to get a slap on the wrist. Instead, the judge grabbed his junk and twisted it!!!

ReplyDeleteI would be willing to bet that the conviction will be overturned. they allowed testimony from victims for whom statutes had run out. that's just one avenue for appeal. they produced zero corroboration, just their versions. but weinstein produced a crapload of exculpatory emails sent by these victims. you wait.
