Juoaquin Phoneix and Rooney Mara?
My first thought was Warren Beatty, but it doesn't look like he's filming plus he's an old man now (not that that would change anything necessarily). Is Dennis Quaid permanent A?
@dena you are probably right. I do not think Phoenix is "permanent A list," yet, just A list, but pretty sure Warren Beatty is on this site. :)
Michael Douglas?
Not saying it is him....but Joaquin got his first Oscar nomination - 20 years ago and has had several since - plus one win - plus the same for GG, BAFTA etc.
the guy's a freak but yeah, he's permanent.
Trust me... It ain't Joaquin.
Could this be Dennis Quaid? Crazy old Randy for the brother. Wonder what that Starwhacker has been up to?!
Warren Beatty is 82, so if it is him, got to give him some props.
Also, Riiver is probably higher than Joaquin, he has that kind of iconic status as Cobain.
Michael Douglas?
Alec Baldwin?
river is not higher than Joaquin,. and hes permanent A. if he retired tomorrow, there is enough of him on screen to warrant permanent status.
off the top of my head
joker, inherent vice, the master, gladiator, walk the line, parenthood, to die for, inventing the abbots, we own the night.
the first 5 were worthy of oscars imo
Alec Baldwin
I love Joaquin's acting, but no, he isn't PERMANENT. That's Marlon Brandon, Cary Grant, Jack Nicholson, and so forth movie stars. Joaquin could stay A for the rest of his life maybe, but PERM A+? No way. That's Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson, Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Al Pachino type of stars where EVERYONE knows them around the world forever.
River would have had the Indiana Jones franchise before he 'overdosed' @ Jonny Depp's club...
Most people under 25 have no idea who River was. Joaquin is a different story.
I like the Dennis Quaid guess
I'm in with Alec Baldwin. The not perm A list family member would be Hailey Baldwin. I wouldn't consider Billy Baldwin A List currently, even though he was so pretty back in the day. That other one....ohhhh....Stephen Baldwin....not A list, either. Hailey fits best given the current "Fame Jenga" Caste System these things run on.
