Pepperoni and mushrooms
Mushrooms, olives, green peppers, onions. Must be a thin crust and must be well done.
Peppers, mushrooms when I don't want meat on it. Pepperoni if I do. Never want to see any fucking pineapple on any pizza sitting in front of me.
Haha. Just baked it last night (funny). Garlic, onion, mushroom, spinach, arugula and feta
And peppers!
Everything spicy meaty (sorry vegetarians !), and way,way too much cheese!
In Italy pizza is sacred! We have a lot of toppings, but a classic Margherita is still the best thing ever to me.
Bacon, sausage, mushrooms, garlic, meatballs. Not necessarily all at once, but a combo.
ilaria... my Italian friends say the same thing. And the husband is a chef at 4 Seasons (several locations). I have eaten with them and their home made pizza. It’s outstanding
Sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and goat cheese.
They just posted their dinner last night and they made it too (funny timing). But it was like a table full of pizza. They are both from Firenze
Anchovies and onions. Light sauce. Thin crust.
I like to make a thin crust pepperoni topped with arugula, mozzarella cheese, garlic and peppers with homemade tomato sauce.
I love margherita 🥰. I make my own and put on veggies ( mushrooms, kale or spinach, peppers, parsley and mozzarella. Tastes like heaven !
I've never met a pizza that I didn't love. So all of the above.
for me a classic marinara (which is just the red sauce no cheese) with porcini mushrooms and arugula
@Tricia: trust me, your friends are absolutely right! During this quarantine Italians are making a lot of homemade pizza, and the best is still Margherita because it's so simple and so tasty! You should all come in Italy when it will be possible because real Italian pizza at an Italian restaurant in Rome or Firenze is like having a piece of Paradise into your mouth. (I just love my country very much, sorry for my rambling)
Mushrooms. Sometimes black olives. Never meat.
I love your country as well!🇮🇹
We like Ham & Pineapple or as it is commonly known as: Hawaiian Pizza!
Olive oil, garlic, mozarella, ricotta, parmesan, basil. No tomato sauce or tomatoes.
We have a wood fire oven outside (and if it's not a good day for the wood fire oven I use a cast iron pizza pan on bricks in a smoking hot gas grill) and my favorite is a really nice thin crust (from scratch) with a red sauce (from scratch - SM tomatoes, fresh oregano, basil, garlic etc.) and topped with mushrooms, fresh mozz and shredded parm. A nice salad topping of fresh greens with a vinaigrette adds to the HEAVEN. The family likes the meats also - pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ALL of it. I love making the dough, the sauce, and of course the limoncello :)
Anything except anchovies. NO anchovies, ever.
Olives, mushrooms and either pepperoni or Canadian bacon
ORDER.....who bakes?!
Anchovies!!!
Chicken,paneer.....
I wish I could eat pizza. Dairy allergy sucks!
Pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and black olives.
Sausage + mushrooms + extra cheese
Usually just cheese, sometimes pepperoni
On pub/thin style, sausage-garlic. On Lou's/Gino's etc, sausage pep. Uncut.
Buy a Papa John veggie, then put teaspoon size splotches Of Italian mountain Gorgonzola cheese on it. It’s awesome
The Firehouse from my local apizza place. Sausage, pepperoni, bacon, hot cherry peppers, onions, mozzarella.
Sausage, onion, green peppers, sometimes pepperoni...though, rarely picky if someone else has preferences!
The true test of a joints pizza is plain.
My condolences on living somewhere Papa Johns is acceptable pizza.
Anchovies and jalapenos. Salty/hot compliments each.

Ilaria, I completely agree! One thing great about Belgium is there are lots of Italians here. On our lane, all of the houses except ours, are owned by one Italian family. Too bad they didn't buy the land before we did, because they could have made it 100%. The nice thing here is that there are lots of Italian restaurants, with the real stone ovens, etc. Such wonderful pizza! Even though we are still under lockdown, we can order take out/delivery from the local places and it's just delicious! *Not ever doing frozen pizza again* Hope everyone is staying safe in self-isolation.
