In the past in this space I mentioned how this oligarch funded the movies of the pint sized actor despite the movie not actually making money. Is it money laundering? Is it something more? Then, with the sanctions, it became impossible for the oligarch to fund things until a workaround was figured out in the country where our actor is now based. Despite the movies losing lots of money, our oligarch has signed on for two more movies.
