Who Doesn't Love America's Youth

So last night, as I often do I was reading stories about Vanessa Hudgens. I mean why not right? A guy has to do what he has to do. It was a typical puff piece on OMG! which is probably the worst name ever for a website made worse by the fact that some guy at Yahoo who invented it was probably given a million stock options for doing so and is now laughing at me from his yacht in the Med while Anne Hathaway sucks his toes.

Anyway, in a story that opened so wide it was probably written by an ex- Kneepads staffer, Vanessa said that she no one in the cast of HSM was going to do a college years and that they were done and wanted no more to do with HSM. Of course if Vanessa's record goes down the drain and Ashley Tisdale has any more "breathing" problems then you might see the college years.

This story obviously is not something that would interest me in writing about. It was obvious that the guy who wrote it wanted to sleep with Vanessa. He kept praising her while subtly trashing Zac Efron at every turn. No, the reason I wrote about the article was because of the very first comment about the story. This is word for word, although I hesitate to characterize any of these jumbling of letters as a word.

Which one of these people is going to be President? Or the doctor who takes care of you when you are 80 and think your name is Freda and that going to the bathroom in the corner makes you laugh.

Deviated Septum Or Lip Synching Disaster

On her website, Ashley Tisdale gave a reason for her cancellation of two shows she was scheduled to perform this past weekend, but backed out of due to illness. "I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be at the holiday shows this weekend. I haven't fully recovered from my surgery and had to make the difficult decision to cancel the appearances. "When my surgery was scheduled, we didn't think it would be necessary to cancel the shows because my doctor thought I would heal in time. Unfortunately, the deviated septum was more significant than we originally thought so the healing process is taking longer."

Uh huh. I am okay with the deviated septum excuse. Whatever gets her through the day. First of all do you think her fans actually care why she had a nose job? Does anyone care? Just say, "I didn't like my nose, had some extra cash laying around, and decided to go ahead and get it done."

I don't think there is anything wrong with Ashley's nose. She did perform in New York on Friday night, but her performance was absolutely trashed. It wasn't trashed like when she did the worst lip synching in the history of lip synching at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade (see below), but it was right up there. I think maybe Ashley is a little nervous going out and performing in front of people. It is a lot tougher to make it as a singer when you don't have a recording studio, music editors, and every other gimmick to make you sound as if you can sing. There is no shame in just being an album singer or a film singer. No one is ever going to take Ashley Tisdale seriously as a singer in front of a live audience, and I think that is the reason she canceled the shows in Miami and Philadelphia. Those cities should be grateful actually. The radio stations that sponsored those shows probably had some local group or singer on standby, and rest assured they probably could sing or else they would not have been offered the gig. I predict Ashley's "deviated septum" will be perfect right about the time she needs to start filming High School Musical 3 or 30 whatever number they are on.

Nude Photos Of Vanessa Hudgens

The National Enquirer is reporting that some naked photos Vanessa took of herself for Zac Efron have ended up in the hands of a third party and could make it out to the general public thus threatening the family friendly Disney franchise High School Musical.

First of all, while I believe that Vanessa Hudgens could have taken naked photos of herself, I seriously doubt they were being taken with the purpose of being given to Zac Efron unless it was to show him what he was missing out on.

Finally, although Disney might fear that people won't tune into the 84th version of High School Musical if somehow parents see a naked photo of Vanessa, I disagree. I think you will find many more dads interested in spending some quality time with their kids and wives while they all sit down as a family to watch High School Musical.

OK, no more on this damn show. I guess I need to watch it but I just can't force myself to do it and therefore I don't want to write about them anymore. I know many of you have kids and so have sat through the two of them, but I just can't do it and so no more reporting on any of the people involved unless they take off their clothes, get arrested or come out of the closet.
