Random Photos Part One - My Random Photos - Post #20,000

Earlier today I crossed the 20,000 post mark since I started the site. That is a whole lot of times to hit the publish button. Anyway, I thought I might share with you some of the random encounters I have had over the past year or so with celebrities and the photos I took. Lots of times it just did not feel right to take out a cell phone and take a photo, so I left it alone. Especially that one time on Emmy Sunday when Mark Wahlberg looked like he wanted to kick my ass as soon as I took out my phone. So, back in the pocket it went.

Larry King Has A Talk Show

CNN just was not good enough for Larry King so he has moved on. His new gig is so much better because instead of reaching the entire planet on the world's largest cable network he is spending 30 minutes a night doing a talk show for some thing called Ora.TV. Yep, Larry is streaming beginning next month. So if you are fan of Larry King then it is time to go to dinner at 2pm and tell your grandkids to spring for something quicker than dial-up because Larry will be on about 5p. He insisted. Turns out he can't make it to 8pm anymore to do the show unless he has a really long nap.

It seems kind of sad that he is reduced to doing something online after being on CNN all those years. It will be nice to see someone kiss as much butt as he does and not even break a sweat trying. It is a lot tougher to get really great guests when they are going to be online though. He can probably get a couple of guys from that Moonshiners show. Maybe one of the Duggar kids. Actually they might be on the same show. The Duggars have so many kids, one is bound to be a moonshiner.

Happy Cinco De Mayo

As is my tradition every year, I started drinking at the break of dawn and fully intend to keep on drinking until I pass out. At the rate I'm going I should be down for the count about 4pm. Anyway, because of the early drinking, the blind item to be revealed will be tomorrow. Everytime I scroll through all the blind items, I'm having a tough time focusing and almost revealed one I shouldn't, just because I'm too buzzed. I'm so buzzed that it looks like Mr. Burns is real. He is still alive? Homer hasn't killed him yet?

Disney Wanted To Fire Johnny Depp

When Disney executives first started watching dailies from Pirates Of The Caribbean they really considered firing Johnny Depp. I an interview with Larry King, who is going to live longer than Mr. Burns, Johnny says the executives could not understand his character or what he was saying and seriously talked about firing him and at the least subtitling his dialogue so people would be able to understand what he was saying.

"They couldn't understand what I was doing. You know? To the point where Disney wanted to - wanted to fire me. They didn't understand the character. They were actually contemplating subtitling the film."

Obviously Disney got over it and the movies have made billions of dollars and Johnny a very rich guy. He also says in the interview that he is still not used to fame and wishes that he had a normal life sometimes. I am sure he does, but you know what, that is the trade off you made for the millions of dollars. No one made you be in the Pirates movies or make movies at all.
