It Wasn't The Nightly News
I am the first person to stand up and say something should be done. Playboy is like any other company, and just because it is a company primarily devoted to things of a sexual nature does not automatically give it a free pass. However, in this case, I think Playboy might just have a point.
The producer complained because she had to produce a radio show called Night Calls where people call in an discuss sex problems, and the host, in this case Christy Canyon helps out the callers and also is not averse to participating in some very hot, uncensored chat with the callers. Even more extreme than Howard Stern. So, the host tried to involve the producer in the show much as Howard involves people from where he works. The producer took exception to it and did not like the fact that Christy was talking dirty to callers or exposing herself even though it was being shot for Playboy TV.
The producer claims Canyon created a hostile environment by, among other things, "exposing her genitals and breasts to co-workers, making requests to guests and co-workers to touch her genitals and breasts and masturbating herself with her own hands as well as with various sex toys during live broadcasts of 'Night Calls.'"
Look, what did you think was going to happen when you signed up for this? Did you think someone from Playboy was just going to read about North Korea and its nuclear program? To me, this is just common sense. It is a sex radio show and television show. You are going to see nudity. It would be like some camera man on a porn set suing for being subject to a hostile sexual environment. He volunteered to be there for it, just as this producer volunteered and was getting paid to produce a radio sex show which was also being filmed.
This is not Jay Leno. If you want quiet, go to NPR. To me this one is ridiculous. If she were to win it would allow my absurd example of a porn cameraman to be able to sue, and win filming porn claiming it was a hostile environment.

Thong Causes Permanent Injury
If I saw this woman wearing a thong, I would suffer a permanent eye injury. The woman in the video above was trying on a thong. Hang on a second. You can actually try on thongs? Seriously? Because to me that just seems nasty. I mean I know on bikinis they have that little band aid thing to keep a woman "protected," but I have never seen such a thing on a thong.
Can you imagine if guys were allowed to try on underwear before purchasing it? Yeah, not going to happen. So, I know women are probably more likely to be clean than a guy, but still it just seems like no one would ever want to go second or third or fourth to try one on.
52 year old Marcrida Patterson said she suffered permanent eye damage when she slipped on a low rise v-string causing a decorative piece of metal to fly off and strike her in the eye. She assured the world she was not using the thong as a slingshot when it happened and was not having any kind of dressing room sex. The thong was part of the Victoria's Secret "Sexy Little Thing Line."
She has not asked for any specific monetary damages as of yet. I'm sure she will want tens of millions of dollars. When the interviewer asked what the thong looked like, Ms. Patterson got up, flipped up her dress and showed everyone. No, not really, but that would have been pretty funny.
Also, if you are going to play up the whole eye injury thing, then get an eye patch. Eye patches are cool and people feel sorry for you when you wear one. You might also want to have your attorney give you a black eye before you go on national television and then you slowly lift the eye patch and America pukes up their coffee and Victoria's Secret just writes you a check right there.

I Didn't Do It Changes To Guilty Plea
Hell, until the guilty plea today, Gary was adamant that he was innocent and that none of the drugs belonged to him.
"I am blessed that the Sgt. realized that the luggage carrying whatever they found was not mine and that my tests have been coming back negative."
Ummm. Yeah. Don't worry. For those of you who think Gary deserved some jail time, there is no way this guy can make it through probation without screwing up. Do I wish him ill will? Of course not, but to send out e-mail after e-mail and tell any reporter who would listen that the drugs weren't his and on and on and on, and then do a 180 and plead guilty, just doesn't sit right with me.
The only reason he changed his story was he realized he wasn't going to win and didn't want to be convicted of three felonies and spend some time behind bars. This way he can be out and about driving with the rest of the population.

Stalking Doesn't Get You Much Time
The stalking charges can carry up to 90 days in jail, while the aggravated harassment charges could send Jordan to jail for up to a year.
That sentence above is a could, not a must, and also doesn't take into account any good behavior or time served. The fact is that although I do joke about stalking, it can be extremely serious. The problem is that despite stalking laws, the police only take it seriously if someone is hurt or killed.
The police are far too busy even for a celebrity, to do much about a stalker except to go threaten the guy or lady and tell him they will be watching. If you are just an average person who doesn't have the name Uma or Orlando or Scarlett then the police might not even stop by your house or even give you a call. Then, when a person shows up dead the police are always shown to have not cared and they promise to do better and for about 12 hours they do. Then unfortunately it goes back to the way it was.
For Uma to spend this much time pursuing this case, this must have been serious. Unfortunately for her and her family, the guy will probably be out of jail, if he even goes, before Christmas.
