On this blog I have always let everyone trash me in the comments and say what they want and I think I have deleted two comments in total which were directed at other posters rather than me. I posted comments today three different times and they were roughly all the same message. For some reason, only known to them, someone is using my screen name in the comments section and saying things which are untrue. If you wish to say something nasty to me or have an opinion on the blog, you can use any name you want except mine. From now on I will not post anything in the comments and will just use the main page. I think it is distracting to use the main page and takes away from the blog, but it is either that or make some other changes to the comments system. I really enjoy all the comments good or bad and they are what makes the blog fun to write. What I dislike is someone using my name and taking away what was a pretty good day.
I think you rock!!
ReplyDeleteENT and readers:
ReplyDeleteI would like to sincerely apologize for posing as ENT earlier today and making a comment that claimed this blog is a fake. It was a lapse of judgment; I honestly don't know why I did it. It was in very poor taste and I am so, so, so very sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your day, ENT, and I will stay away from now on.
My sincerest apologies to anyone who was/is confused, and especially to ENT.
someone doesnt wanna get sued
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to block certain names? I don't know that much about Blogger accounts.
ReplyDeleteJimmy gods some people are so immature.
ReplyDeletei am sure ent has the ip address of the offender and knows exactly who did it
ReplyDeleteI love the blog.
ReplyDeleteEL should just delete the messages.
ReplyDeletebtw EL you rock man love your shyt!
DDR
Hi Amber,
ReplyDeleteEL can require readers to register and log in before posting comments, and that of course would prevent anyone from using a name that someone else has already registered (such as "ent lawyer") if he wants to do that. But really, he shouldn't have to police the comment sections of his blog, people should be mature enough to recognize that they are GUESTS here and behave accordingly.

Another publicist jumps off the Brit ship:

Wow, that's too bad this happened. It's always someone who has to ruin it for others.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I knew it was an impostor when I read it. Even if you WERE fake, why let people know in a comment to an entry? Why not post a whole entry? So yeah, stupid people...
ReplyDeleteI'm all for closed membership btw. I have no idea how blogger works though, but if it's possible, why not? This way, the annoying "Anonymous" would be gone as well. Yay!
Happy Holidays!
first post, but i'm all over the 'net.
ReplyDeletei really enjoy this site, and have to admit i've actually lost some sleep trying to figure out blind items!
don't let the turkeys get you down, ent...
as "jcolette" said, you rock!
buns
I agree. Perhaps registering to comment might make people accountable for their opinions.
ReplyDeleteYes but who's Ent accountable to, Sarah?
ReplyDeleteHow do we know he or she is for real? There's a good bit of supposition out there that this blog is fake and simply a gossiper posing as a lawyer. And to be fair, what lawyer would give away clients secrets in this way?
I think it's for entertainment purposes, and probably an exercise to see how easily/quickly people fall for a clever person who can pose as a professional.
Am I the only person who has bothered to scroll down to the bottom of the main page and read EL's own statement about this blog?
ReplyDeleteJeeze- I read it a couple of weeks ago and cannot believe no one has mentioned it...
ReplyDeleteNo way is this guy a lawyer
ReplyDeleteHi Gossipmama,
ReplyDeleteThat would be why lawyers always have plenty of work - because no one can be bothered to read the fine print ;)
Speaking for myself, I think knowing that some of it is true and some of it is not makes the whole BI game even more interesting ;)
regards
Merry Christmas Ent Lawer and everyone!!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of the entertainment shows this w/end said there is a 41 year old actress who is going to appear nude in a magazine. But the reveal is tonight. Wonder if this is the answer to one of Ent L's blinds?
ReplyDeletewhy haven't ent posted anything today. Did he say he was going to be on vacation?
ReplyDeleteOn Friday, EL said "Take care of yourselves and your family and I will see you back here next week" but he didn't specify which day.
ReplyDeleteFrom the bottom of ENT's own website......
ReplyDelete"Crazy Days and Nights is a gossip site. The site publishes rumors, conjecture, and fiction. In addition to accurately reported information, certain situations, characters and events portrayed in the Blog are either products of the author’s imagination or are used fictitiously. Information on this site may contain errors or inaccuracies; the Blog’s proprietor does not make warranty as to the correctness or reliability of the site's content. Now I wonder if any of it was ever real. My addiction is over.
ent lawyer
ReplyDeletei love reading your blog. it's a delight to read and try to solve your blind items.
you rock.
keep on keeping on.
Let Down -
ReplyDeleteI believe that this site has that sort of disclaimer to prevent any lawsuits - it's a cover-your-a$$ measure. He IS a lawyer, after all. :)
The only other gossip blog I frequent that has not updated since before Christmas is Lainey, but she's in Canada where yesterday (Boxing Day) was a holiday, too.
ReplyDeleteHm. Los Angeles does not observe Boxing Day.
