I don't know if Billy Joel has Beatles kind of money but he's been around for what, 30 years with a ton of hits. Probably has a good chunk of cash.

The B.I. has nothing to do with money 0 it has to do with the kids hating the new wife. Stella Mc Cartney couldn't STAND Heather.

    Billy Joel's an excellent guess.

Please note the use of the term "latest wife".......

Totally Billy Joel. He's the only that fits. He may not have Paul McCartney money, but he's not too far behind. Been around for 30 years and writes ALL of his own music (hello, publishing royalities = TONS of cash), his daughter is old enough to have that kind of opinion on his new wife.

  11. Ol' Billy Joel might be running a bit low on cash since he has to pay lawyers to get him out of DUIs on a regular basis.

JMe here again - his "newest wife" Katie is in her mid 20's or so... not that much older than his daughter, which could really cause some tension.

How is Billy Joel a POP marriage? I'm thinking POP as in music? He's OLD.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Anonymous9:42 AM

Anyone who could possibly think that Billy Joel doesn't have GOBS of cash must be under the age of 21. Billy Joel is LOADED!!! He sold his mansion to Jerry Seinfeld for some rediculous amount of money, like $35 million or something like that. He's got more money than he knows what to do with.

What I can't see, however, is his wife getting a lot of money since they have no children together, but we'll see.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anonymous9:47 AM

The person would have to be OLD if they have a daugther old enough to have a valid opinion

I don't think it's Billy Joel because his daughter, Alexa served as Maid of Honor at his wedding to Katie Lee.

Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I think Billy and Katie have a child.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous10:14 AM

Billy and Katie DO NOT have a child. Plus, Alexa could have changed her opinion of her now that they've been married for awhile.

He is POP... he's always been pop. Granted, it's not the bubblegum pop that everyone automatically thinks of, but it is considered pop music. Trust me, I work for a record label. Guess I should also add that this isn't the first rumor I've heard about problems in the marriage.

Don't you love the anonymous "trust me I know" "I work in the industry" blah blah blahs?

  19. Anonymous10:23 AM

Anon 10:14 - what other rumors have you heard about their marriage??

    ReplyDelete
  20. Anonymous10:23 AM

ANON 10:16A - Believe what you want, but WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY IS the reason why I post anonymously. I, just like Ent, could get in MAJOR trouble if I used my real information. Funny that you believe and anon blogger, but not an anon poster.

And I'd also like to add that I purposely stayed away from this site for 2 weeks because of all the bitchiness and I came back for the first time today and whaddya know - bitchiness. Surprise surprise.

I'll never come back to this site again. Hope y'all don't miss the information that I give to Ent, which he turns into blind items. Sorry Enty, love ya, but the trolls in here are ruining EVERYTHING.

but 10:14 is right. Anyone who's up on popular music or has music critic friends knows that Billy Joel's genre is pop. That's not really up for argument, unless you think Avril makes rock or are otherwise uninformed about music.

count me in on the Billy Joel guess too. I am in radio and we hear things...snicker snicker.

I'll say Billy Joel. His daughter is old enough to have an opinion on his wife. Just b/c she was in the wedding doesn't she wanted to be.

Brendalove, do you have a job? other than posting nonstop on a blog? and if so..how are you not fired?

    ReplyDelete
  33. In fact, let me just say this. If you have a problem with me, why don't you bring it to email? Go on, my email address is right there.

Oh wait, then others might not see what a little badass you are.

    You make me sick.

  34. Anonymous5:14 PM

Hi Breandalove, again you are making everything about you. I suppose it's an illness you just can't help.
Unfortunately most of us simply do.not.care. So contribute or continue pretending like the world revolves around you and deal with the criticism. Hint, if you make it so people can't point out your threadjacking, it wouldn't be an issue.
Anon 10:23 don't listen to Brendalove, pretty safe to say we would rather hear from an anon insider than a bored person wearing their big red NOTICE ME sign

    SA
And I agree about it being Billy Joel.

"pretty safe to say we would rather hear from an anon insider"
    SA 5:14
Ah, no actually. Nobody buys that and for those pathetic "legends in their own minds" and their faux insider BS, WE just ignore it. Something you may want to consider for those who are obviously irritating you.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anonymous6:10 PM

O RLY? Ignore someone who claims to work in the industry but doesn't want their name known..all the while treating the gossip Ent provides as gossip..without knowing who he is?
Let's be honest, for all we know he could be a bored tax man kicking this stuff out from the computer room of a california library.
Interesting what you will believe and what you will not, eh?
As far as ignoring brendalove, would be easier if there were an ignore function. Pretty hard to ignore someone who derails threads causing numerous off topic responses. This being one of them, by the way. Not proud of that but it looks like I'm not the only one tired of her constant look at me posts.
You use the site the way you want to and I'll do the same, deal?
Honestly no one who has anything to offer from an inside point of view will give you folks anything if you keep up the attitude of mocking and brushing off their insight. Perhaps it's jealousy or some sort of alpha dog thing on this site, you want to be seen as the only one with an opinion worth listening to. Sure, have at it.
You're going to blow off the consensus that it's Billy Joel because perhaps a receptionist or bookkeeper who cares to keep their job posted anon that they have heard more than a few rumblings about Billy's marriage being in trouble? Suit yourself.
Bet people love your hospitality in real life.

I think it's Billy and we'll probably be reading about it publicly within the next 6 months.

Some of you guys are nuts- Relax already! Most of us love to read all these rumors, whether they turn out to be true or not. That's why it's called *gossip*. Now stop being so snarky-- you're taking up valuable post space and making me scroll down too quickly, lol.

p.s. I totally thought of Billy Joel too. :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. I'll repeat, if you've got a problem, take it to email. I don't see any emails in my inbox.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, I like the insider shit and I usually assume it's got a grain of truth. Adding to the discussion is always welcome as far as I'm concerned. (And my def of "troll" has to do with the ones who call this site and Ent a fake, but don't get me started on that.)

With all due respect, though (I mean that!), nobody REALLY needs to be anonymous in these comments. At the end of your post, you can always add a phoney set of initials, or choose an emoticon like b:) does, or call yourself Clyde for all I care, but Anon is a choice and some people will react to it. On the positive side, if people knew to watch for posts from Clyde because he/she is an industry insider, it would make things a little clearer for those of us who sometimes skim through these comments looking for the real goods.

I admit, I've jumped on Anons in the past, but it is your choice to appear that way. However, as my dad says, that's one hillside I choose not to die on today. Peace.

BLove, take it from one who knows... perspective is the only remedy when it gets personal. xo

  40. Oh, and yes to Billy Joel.

  41. Anonymous6:44 PM

I agree; Billy Joel. That would explain a few of his recent setbacks with battling booze. I get so sick of seeing Katie's fat, self-promoting head so good riddance. Still, that is so sad for Billy. I think I'll go put on "Downeaster Alexa" now - one of my all-time faves of his!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous6:49 PM

I'm gonna guess that anyone that doesn't equate Billy Joel with pop must not have been, well, popped themselves. Go do some history and you'll see that the man RULED the pop charts all throughout the 80s. It's not manufactured pop like you are clearly used to but it was certainly the predecessor of any pop you will hear on the radio or tv nowadays!
