The up and comer tried to latch on to the network's marquee name and tried to latch on to the gay anchor--which freaked out the network and the gay anchor--and ultimately got her fired.
As a gay man I can tell you that your comment didn't make me smile at all. Some women seem to objectify gay guys into some sort of eunuchs who they can have fun with, or have a safe crush on. Basically some of them are still trying to play games with their dolls without real emotional attachments. And then there are women who find gays disgusting and nelly, you sound like one. I'm assuming that you are 30-50 years old female like almost all the posters here seem to be.
And I have to tell you that I have real female friends who are not needy fag hags. It's all semantics of course, but sometimes the use of certain words just make you see red.
