50 Cent Destroys G Unit Offices

50 was a little pissed this morning. Seems that a certain someone, somewhere at Interscope Records leaked the video for the song Follow My Lead with Robin Thicke. The single isn't even supposed to be released until October. 50's album doesn't even come out until Spetember 11th.

So, this morning 50 was pissed because all his plans had gone up in smoke. So instead of dealing with it calmly, 50 ripped a 70 inch plasma television off the wall and threw it on top of a conference table which broke the television and the table and then took his phone which he had been screaming into and threw it out the 10th floor window of his office. The phone shattered the glass dropping shards down onto the street below.

50 is so pissed about the leak that he has threatened to leave Interscope today and will refuse to do any promotion for the new album.

  2. There were all those rumors about how there would be "accidental" leaks because 50 and kanye were releasing new albums on the same day. 50 and kanye are both at a real shitty point in their careers: New enough that they still have to prove themself but they've had enough prior success that they have be better than the last stuff.

  3. its all about the benjamins .. he supposedly said that if he doesnt sell more records then kanye he will give up the music biz .. no doubt it wont hurt him any .. he just made a fortune selling his "water" company

  5. Grrr!! I can't stand him! And it just confirms what a sniveling loser he is. He could've hurt someone with his stupid antics. I'm buying Kanye's album, I own all of them! But I refuse to buy one album from that sexist-beaver-looking-cheap-mike-tyson-knock off.

Whew! Thanks for letting me rant everybody! -burp!- I feel much better. :)

  7. Fiddykins, you're supposed to SHOOT the TV. Don't you know your Rockstar Tantrum History?

    Hmph... Rookie.

  8. This is clever pr: his pre-sales are low, his single is not moving, he's been flipping out about the mtv disses, and now he says he won't do media for his album, which has been slow with his help.

This gives him an opportunity to launch his own deal through koch, lower expectations, and sell half a million or a million records for his "comeback" album released early next year.

  9. J, you are probably right. So this next thing is a "go away" album. -sigh- I was hoping his PR team would put him rehab, but I guess that's not gonna happen...oh well at least he'll be gone for a awhile. Who knows maybe I'll like him better when that happens.

  10. I was going to write "dumbass" and just leave it at that. But I like what J says about this being a PR move. After all this time reading countless gossip blogs I thought I'd know better lol.

Oh hell, he's still a dumbass anyway.

  11. Regardless of how their albums do- Kanye's career will still outlast 50 because of his production abilities, don't you think? Kanye's never been really good on the mike, he just has insane beats that he finally saved himself some of... the only thing that could really take him off the map is his ego- whereas 50 has never been good with a mike, and what's he gonna do after this? Not every song can be the Candy Shop or a copy thereof...

  12. He doesn't need to do anything. He's worth several hundred mill. I wish he'd just retire and disappear.
