Sacha Baron Cohen has finally signed a deal to play Bruno which is his fashion reporter character. The movie will begin filming within the next few months and is scheduled for release next year. Sacha had been hemming and hawing about playing the character and was more interested in doing original projects, rather than just making movies based on each of his famous personalities.
Sacha just recently finished filming Sweeny Todd, the Tim Burton directed film in which Sacha plays the rival to Johnny Depp's character.
did he finally marry his girlfriend? Did she finally have the baby, or is she still carrying it?

Actually the film contracts NOT signed are for Dinner for Schmucks, a DreamWorks remake of the French comic Le Diner de Cons, from Francis Veber. Contracts haven't been signed yet for the flick, and the timeframe for the project is still uncertain. Bruno was indeed a done deal in 2006 and IS filming now. IMDB, THR even Defamer are reporting the same.
