Which legendary singer is being kept on a tight leash by her producer as she works on her comeback album? She was not allowed to attend a glitzy weekend celebrity event over fears for her sobriety.

whitney, yay!! she is the first artist I ever knew, when i was like three or four years old, me and my mom would always sing "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" in the car while she dragged me around to do errands. I cannot wait for her album!
Whitney. We keep hearing about her comeback. Of course, that is all. It's like Little Sheba: you can say "come back" all you want but sometimes the only thing that comes back is the sound of your own voice in an empty room.
I do wish her well, especially in her recovery, but I also wish that she'd either actually make a comeback or that we wouldn't have to hear about it when it doesn't seem as if anything is happening.
Whitney is a great guess, but when I first read this and saw the words legend & sobriety, my only thought was Liza Minnelli. She recently fell off a stage while performing (in Sweden I think), and was rushed back to the states. The news from her camp was that she had fallen off the wagon.
Me thinks Whitney. Me also thinks she is batshit crazy times 10 and keeping her away from a party isn't going to work. Amy Winehouse was home this weekend and we know how that turned out.
Whitney looked stunning in a recent photos I saw of her! Kudos to Mr. Davis for caring enough about her (and his own wallet, I suppose) to keep her on the straight and narrow. This will be a very welcome comeback. Oh--did y'all see that Bobby Brown just got in trouble again for the white and asked the cops to "use discretion" and not charge him? As if.
Usually I don't care what these pampered idiots do to destroy themselves, but Whitney is one person I pray gets clean. She was so gifted and beautiful. She's wasted too many years.
